ZION WORSHIP SERVICE ONLINE Sunday mornings you can listen to the 8:30AM service online. The link has been updated for easier access. 1. Go to: www.ziontrf.org. 2. In the black banner click Listen Online. 3. Click on the RED link to KTRF. PARISH NURSE: Parish Nurse hours are Mondays from 3-4:30 PM. On March 14, 1941 a high wind blizzard struck the western counties in Minnesota with winds of 85 mph reported in Grand Forks, and even in Duluth 75 mph winds. They certainly did not have the advanced weather warnings we have now and 32 deaths were reported. NO HANDSHAKING We have members of our church and community that have compromised immune systems, which will increase their risk for complications from the flu. Once again Zion will start the No Handshaking time of year and do our part to limit the flu transmission. Remember a friendly warm smile goes a long way. STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE is accepting items for the Personal Care Kits during our Lenten season. On Wednesday, March 16th we are asking for 2 Bath-sized soaps (4-5 oz.). Other items in each kit are: bath towels. (Dark colors preferred, new or gently used), a sturdy comb and adult-size toothbrushes, nail clippers. Monetary donations will also be accepted. 8th Annual Good Friday Prayer Vigil is March 25th. There is a sign up sheet in the Narthex. Even if you are not able to sign up for a time slot, please come anyway and feel free to bring a friend. Feel free to stay longer then your half hour time slot, as you will find the time will be gone before you know it. But what a wonderful half hour it will be! This is a time of meditation, prayer and silence. There will be a booklet provided for you to use during this time if you wish. Come and join us and be part of something that will make a lasting impression in your heart. PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY meets on Thursday mornings at 10:00 in the Fellowship Hall. We are always looking for more crocheters and knitters! If you don t know how to knit or crochet, we will help you learn! For more information call Deb Holtan at 449-4645. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY A volunteer is needed to deliver the Christian Magnifier to the nursing homes once a month. The Magnifier is a large print Christian literature magazine provided by the Zion Women. WOMEN OF ZION will meet on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at noon. The speaker will be Erling Johnson from Johnson Funeral Home. Duties for March are: Program - Elizabeth, Hostess - Rebekah, Hospitality - Anna, and Visitation - Lydia at Valley Home. The Executive Board meets at 11:00AM and the Bible Study Leaders meet after the meeting. SARAH CIRCLE will meet Wednesday, March 16th while we are cooking our Lenten supper. NOTE change of date! We will meet early in the afternoon. Darlene Hulteen will be hostess. DORCAS CIRCLE will meet Mar. 22 at 9:30 in the church lounge with Mavis Newton as hostess.

LSS RESPITE SERVICES is for families caring for individuals 60+ with chronic health conditions.
