Once deposited, those seeds germinate, begin their battle and produce results. There are good seeds (virtuous beliefs) and bad seeds (contaminated beliefs).
We benefit from good seeds and are impaired by the bad ones. This battle of the seeds has raged on in the hearts and minds of humans since the very beginning. Both God and satan (deceiver) use seeds to exert their influence on people and to promote their kingdoms. This book will best serve you if you first read In-Syncness: the Key to Health, Peace, Joy, Prosperity. There you will discover: Each of us is laden with an array of folly/fear-based beliefs (toxic seeds) that reside in our cellular memory. Toxic seeds (contaminants) are lies, deceptions, and partial truths that became our truth when we failed to interpret various words or life experiences from a self-valuing or biblical perspective. Our contaminants (destructive beliefs) influence our words, behavior and thoughts. Every negative, toxic, debasing, demeaning, devaluing, sabotaging thought you have ever had is the product of one or more contaminants. Within us are two contrary forces: Self and Spirit. Self is synonymous with contaminants and Spirit is tantamount to Divine Love. When Self is prevailing, we are in-conflict; when Spirit is prevailing we are in-sync. Battle of the Seeds is all about the battle between flesh (toxic seeds/destructive beliefs) and Spirit (good seeds/constructive beliefs). At every moment, we are either in-conflict or in-sync. When we are in-conflict, our contaminants influence
our motives, thoughts, words, desires and behavior. When we are in-sync, our virtuous beliefs influence our motives, thoughts, words, desires and behavior. When we are in-conflict, our folly/fear-based beliefs (bad seeds) are prevailing. As a result, we often say things we later regret, experience stress and confusion, make flawed decisions, take rather than give, and frequently live a life that is unpleasing to God, ourselves and others. When we are in-sync, Divine Love is on the throne of our heart and our virtuous beliefs prevail. Our prime ethical traits are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. As a result, we tend to say the right things at the right time in the right way, work in an effective/efficient manner, make good decisions, and vibrate in a manner that pleases God, ourselves and others. In the Old Testament, the Israelites experienced God in ways that far exceed anything most of us have ever encountered. They observed the plagues, saw the Red Sea open, ate food that fell from heaven, drank water from rocks, and heard God speak. Yet, their hearts remained hard and contaminated. They even defiantly built and worshiped a golden calf as their god. Miracles may resolve certain human situations, but miracles will not eradicate the sin-principle, minimize contaminants, or forever soften the human heart. Nevertheless, countless Christians believe that their life will forever be mystical bliss if they can just be slain in the Spirit or experience a miracle.
These eight Scripture verses support the basis for the concept and perspectives presented in this book: 1. Sin entered the world through Adam (sin-principle) and death resulted from that sin (death-principle). Therefore, everyone dies because (in Adam) everyone has sinned. (Romans 5:12) 2. From birth we are dead in sins and trespasses (this is the result of the sin-principle inherited from Adam). None of us are born righteous. (Ephesians 2:1, Romans 3:10) 3. The heart is deceitful (contaminated) above all things, and desperately wicked (contaminated); who can know it. (Jeremiah 17:9) 4. As a person thinks in their heart (the battle Buy the Book Chapter 1 Basic Truths Why are so many Christians depressed, fearful, anxious, angry, judgmental, insecure and suffering from emotional baggage? Why do they habitually curse, argue, lust, gossip, judge and commit the same sins as not-yetbelievers? Many Christians are unaware of the battle raging between their toxic seeds (contaminants) and their virtuous seeds (constructive beliefs). This is because they were taught that satan is their worst enemy. Thus, they are busily fighting an imaginary war with satan while
ignoring the real battle that dramatically alters their thoughts, words, and deeds. Paul clarifies the real battle in Galatians 5:17: The flesh (contaminants) sets its desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit (virtuous beliefs) against the flesh; these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. In Romans 7:18-19, he acknowledges the reality of this battle in his life: I have the desire to do what is right (virtuous beliefs), but I cannot carry it out. I don't do the good I want to do; instead I do the evil (contaminants) that I don't want to do. Battle of the Seeds is a primer on how to identify and eradicate toxic beliefs (contaminants). When that occurs, we are able to fulfill our desire to do what is right. Battles only occur when both sides have an arsenal and are somewhat evenly matched God uses weapons (Good Seed) like truth, prayer, promises and provisions; He also employs an army of angels to help His followers. In opposition, satan uses lies, distortions, perversions (toxic seeds) to distort the truth and create contaminants. In addition he uses misunderstandings and the power inherent in revenge, prejudice and unforgiveness to hold people captive and create additional contaminants. Satan also employs an army of evil spirits who thrive on the toxic thoughts, words and behavior of misguided people. Before we further explore our contaminants (toxic seeds), let s debunk some common misconceptions about
spiritual warfare. Satan does not have carte blanche to destroy your marriage, career, mind, health, finances, etc. The thought that he has a detailed plan of action to destroy your life is without any scriptural basis. If you believe this type of nonsense, you disregard all that you possess in Christ and open the door wider to evil spirits. Satan need not intervene for any of the following to occur in your life. You are fully capable of destroying your life and the lives of others with toxic words and behavior, especially when you: Guard your heart. Out of it proceed the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23 Buy the Book Chapter 14 Spiritual Detoxification Scripturally, there are numerous acts you are told to incorporate into your life to help you be spiritually fit. Each requires an action step. Yield your body to God. (Romans 11:1; 6:13-26) Present your body a living sacrifice. (Romans 12:1) Purify yourself. (1John 3:3) Refuse to allow your body to become a slave to sin. (Romans 6:12)
Crucify your corrupt nature (sin-principle plus contaminants). (Galatians 5:24) Put-Off your old self (contaminants). (Ephesians 4:22) Work-Out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12) How do you yield, present, purify, refuse, crucify, put-off and work-out? How do you crucify and put to death your flesh? Specifically, what are you doing to work out your salvation? The most common answers to these questions are pray, study the Scriptures, renew the mind, live in and be led by the Spirit, and wear the full armor of God. I fervently agree that all of these actions will help us become more like Christ. Question: Why do so few of us follow the advice we know to be right? Answer: We are in-conflict most of the time; our folly/fear-based beliefs (contaminants) are prevailing and influencing our attitudes, desires, choice of words and behavior. As a result, we have minimal interest in doing that which is in our best interest. In our flesh dwells no earthly good. (Romans 7:18) The Greek word for good is agathos, which indicates nothing within us is capable of doing good. No earthly good confirms that the human heart is infected with the sin-principle and overwhelmed with contaminants. Thus, our heart-soil is hard, rocky and thorny which leads to
minimal good fruit. We are warring against a stacked deck. If you have read the companion book In-Syncness: the KEY to Health, Peace, Joy, Prosperity, you know that when you are in-conflict, your contaminants are dominating and your primary interest is SELF INTEREST. When in-conflict, you care not about putting to death the deeds of your flesh. You have minimal desire to pray, read the Bible, submit to Spirit, or put on the necessary spiritual armor. Is it any wonder that the behavior of believers and not-yet-believers is relatively similar. Is it any wonder that the behavior of believers and notyet-believers is relatively the same--they are both inconflict most of the time and in bondage to their contaminants. When seeking better physical health, the first priority is to detoxify the body. The same is true when seeking greater spiritual maturity and behavioral change. Not in the book This offers you a proven method for you to eradicate your contaminants. It is like no other book ever written for Christians. Read it and you will never be the same nor will you ever preach, teach, counsel or interact with others in the same manner. Buy the Book
