ANNEXURE _B_ Complaint filed by Mr.Ratnakar Shetty, Inspector of Police, Cubbon Park, To, The Hon'ble VIII Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, at Respected Sir, I, Ratnakar Shetty, Inspector of Police, Cubbon Park Police Station, state that on 11-09-2006 at 10.00 am upon information received I raided Cubbon park which comes within our jurisdiction and found 10-12 khojas being khojas with a intention to engage in unprotected unnatural sex, they were standing in the shade of the trees and soliciting passerby on K.B Road foot path and that they engaged in such unnatural sexual business for the purposes of earning money and that they by such unsafe, immoral sexual acts they may spread immoral diseases like AIDS, which may cause severe harm to the general public and thereby they are likely to seriously affect the public health and that it may affect not only us but also the good citizens who travels on foot path and tourist who visit Cubbon Park and their behavior is embarrassing and disgusting and that they were making efforts to commit unnatural sexual acts and on our raid we arrested the following khojas: 1. Madhumita s/o Govindappa age 26 years r/o Hebbal Near Dasarahalli water Tank, 2. Manjula s/o Chennigappa age 24 years, Hebbal Near Dasarahalli water tank, 3. Kasturi s/o Shankaragouda age 25 years, Near Devegouda Petrol Pump, Padmanabha nagar, 4. Ranjita @ Rekha s/o Damodaran, Hebbal, Near Dasarahalli Water Tank, 5. Shanta s/o Chikka timmaiah age 35 years Hebbal, Near Dasarahalli Water Tank, of the above accused, 3 accused have once in a while were accused of committing
offences under section 92 (O & R) and that they have paid fine to the courts and that I have on 8/9 06 under the power vested in me under section 70 K.P Act I had directed the above accused not to behave in such a fashion and prohibited them doing such acts in Cubbon park which is a heritage public place. Despite such direction and prohibition they have engaging themselves in such acts & therefore action is taken against the above named khojas in Crime No 151/06 u/s 270, 294, 290, 377, 511 & r/w 34 IPC. while on duty at about 10.00 am on 11/09/06 at a distance of 100 meters on eastern side from Ganesha temple which is in Cubbon park and found 10-12 khojas being khojas with a intention to engage in unprotected unnatural sex, they were standing in the shade of the trees and soliciting passer-by on K.B Road foot path and that they engaged in such unnatural sexual business for the purposes of earning money and that they by such unsafe, immoral sexual acts they may spread immoral diseases like AIDS, which may cause severe harm to the general public and thereby they are likely to seriously affect the public health and that it may affect not only us but also the good citizens who travels on foot path and tourist who visit Cubbon park and their behaviour is embarrassing and disgusting and that they were making efforts to commit unnatural sexual acts and on our raid we arrested the following khojas: 6. Shanta s/o Chikka timmaiah age 35 years Hebbal, Near Dasarahalli Water Tank, Therefore action is taken against the above named khojas in Crime No 151/06 u/s 270, 294, 290, 377, 511 & r/w 34 IPC. The arrested accused person have been arrested sent to medical examination to Bowring hospital. The above matter is under investigation and we need to inquire witness and we are expecting medical report from doctors who have examined the accused persons. The above accused are presented to this hon'ble court and we submit that in the event this court is pleased to enlarge the accused on bail, the accused may again assemble or meet at Cubbon park and may solicit public to enlarge in unnatural sexual act and
may cause embarrassment and disguised and may spread unhealthy diseases, may cause nuisance and as they may likely to do such offence, we sincerely request that the hon'ble court be pleased to remand the accused I judicial custody from 11-9-06 to 25-09-06 for a period of 15 days. Accused are escorted by police constable to be presented before this hon'ble court.
