As we reflect on the many things for which we are thankful, I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for all the following blessings within our All Saints school community: Our Students We are thankful for our students who come to school every day ready and eager to learn they give us all a daily reminder of what is important and why we are here. Our Teachers and Staff It is an absolute honor to work with the teachers and staff of All Saints Catholic School. They are fully invested in providing the best environment for our students to grow in mind, body, and spirit, and they truly have the best interests of our students at heart. Our Volunteers The support our school receives from volunteers, who enthusiastically contribute so much to our school, is absolutely incredible. Day after day volunteers give time and talent to ensure we offer the best opportunities and environment for our kids. Our Parents Thank you for the investment you make in order for your children to attend All Saints and receive a Catholic education. I understand the sacrifices that are necessary to give your children a top-notch education based in the traditions of our Catholic faith. We are thankful for your children and thankful to you for your continued support. May we live this and every day conscious of all that has been given to us. I wish all of you and your families a happy, healthy, and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday! Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday 27 First Sunday 28 29 30 St. Andrew 1 2 3 St. Francis Xavier I will spend a few extra minutes in prayer today. I will do my work well today and with joy for God. I will secretly do a kind act for someone. I will obey my parents, my teachers, and others in charge of me. I will try to show special love for someone who seems unhappy or lonely. I will work hard today and do my best. I will eat more of what is good for me today and less of what is not. 4 Second Sunday I will try to be more thoughtful of others. 5 6 St. Nicholas 7 St. Ambrose 8 Immaculate Conception of Mary I will be a peacemaker today in school and at home. I will donate like-new toys and books I ve outgrown to needy families. I will make a special effort to be kind to those I find it hard to like. I will honor Mary in a very special way today by being cheerful. 9 St. Juan Diego 10 I will be kind in a special way to someone I do not like much. I will try to be patient today. 11 Third Sunday 12 Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe 13 St. Lucy 14 St. John of the Cross 15 16 17 I will find a quiet place and sit for a few minutes, just letting God love me. 18 Fourth Sunday I will be grateful and thank God today for all the food I have. 25 Merry Christmas! I will ask Mary to help me make room for Jesus in my heart. 19 20 21 St. Peter Canisius 22 23 24 I will be satisfied with the things I have instead of asking my family for more. I will keep calm and not lose my temper when I am pushed or treated rudely. I will be helpful at home these last days before Jesus birthday. ADVENT 2016 I will do some work for my parents to help them rest after a day of work. I will speak kindly to all I meet today. I will do what I can to please my parents and family in a special way today. I will thank God for all he gives to me. May Christ our Savior bring light into the darkness of this world, and to us, as we wait for his coming. I will not complain today, even if I must do things I do not want to do. I will give a smile to all I meet today. I will do a kind act for each member of my family. I welcome Jesus with great love and offer him all the good acts I have performed and the prayers I have said during Advent. Copyright
