As I write this on November 26 the snow is gently falling to the ground. I doubt that it will amount to much, but it sure does look pretty floating down! Isn t that how much of life is? Things happen, and we don t know exactly what the end result will be. All we can do is endure the process. We can choose to look at it negatively (oh, ick, snow.it s going to be slick) or we can choose to look at it positively (we need the moisture and doesn t everything look pretty covered in white frosting!). As we prepare our hearts and our homes to welcome the Christ child once again we can choose to be negative (I m way too busy, and this is way too expensive) or we can choose to be positive (how awesome is God to have given his son for us and in such a humble way). Merry Christmas! NOVEMBER - BY THE NUMBERS Offerings Received in November: General Funds:$21,912.93 Trustees Funds: $1,025.14 Average Worship Attendance for November: 266 Mission Shares remaining in 2012: $3,118.88 The Missions Outreach Committee invites you to consider a gift to Epworth Village this holiday season. Information about Epworth is available at the welcome center. Checks can be made payable to Seward UMC, with Epworth in the memo line. Thank you! Tired of Thanksgiving leftovers?? Tired of Thanksgiving leftovers? Foodnet would be happy to take them off your hands! Call Cindy in the office. 643-4156 CHILDREN S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM SUNDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2012 8:15 A.M. AND 10:30 A.M.
