CONNECTIONS June 2014 From June 1 8 we will be covering our church sign in burlap with the simple statement: One Lord. One Church This is a statement of unity and repentance that we are sharing with other churches in our community. It is our desire that the message of God s amazing love in Jesus Christ be shared in a unified way with our community. When churches of different backgrounds and ministries come together God does wonderful things. We pray that God will not only bless the ministry of Trinity Church, but that God will bless all churches that share the message of salvation in Jesus Christ. I encourage you to pray for unity among the churches of West Michigan, and that the message of Jesus Christ will be powerfully shared with our community. Blessings, Pastor Chris DeGraaf Joint Worship Service On June 8 (Pentecost Sunday), beginning at 6pm, we will be having joint worship at Dimnent Chapel on Hope College's campus. It will be a time of worship and prayer shared by believers throughout West Michigan. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:4-6 NIV Unified Repentance In the Old Testament, sackcloth was a sign of repentance and humility. From June 1-8 West Michigan churches will cover their church signs to express the same. We desire to see the Church in West Michigan awakened, working together, serving Jesus as Lord! We believe this is a powerful statement of humility that can be a sign not only to those who pass by on the streets, but also to those who pass by the signs while entering for worship. Our worship themes for the two weeks will be: June 1: Jesus is Lord June 8: The Church is One

This home will provide a family a stable environment to live and be part of a community to grow in. Your efforts to help with this building process will give a family a chance to succeed in life and make your community a better place to live. Please sign up for Saturday, August 9 and/or Saturday, August 16 to help. Your commitment will be from 8:00am to 12:00 noon. We need people to do physical work, provide snacks or lunch, and people to pray for this house building process and the family that will benefit from it.
