It is a great blessing to see God at work in the midst of his people. Thank Him for all those who have become members. Some have joined by transfer of membership. Some have come by statement of the fact that they are saved and have been baptized. Some have come on profession of faith in Jesus. However they come, it warms my heart. I pray that each of us will reach out and make each one of them feel welcome and get them involved in the work of the Lord. We have had a lot of sickness among us over the last few weeks. We must pray fervently for each person who is facing illness of any kind. Some of our members have faced very serious illness that could be life threatening. God is working miracles in lives. Many have had influenza and other short-term illnesses. Some have gone through surgeries. Please keep on praying for each one. God is the Great Physician. He is able to touch and heal all of our hurts. Please pray for upcoming events. We are looking forward to the marriage retreat that is coming up March 22. We are praying always that the marriage of each of our couples will be strengthened, not only by retreats, but by everything we do as a church. Coming up, we are looking forward to another round of small groups as we engage in 40 Days of Prayer. This will be similar to the 40 Days of Purpose we were engaged in last Fall. I pray that every member will get involved. Spring is coming and we look forward to Easter, the greatest time of our lives. Judy is making plans for a great Women s Banquet. It is just perfect to be a part of God s church. I am involved with plans for a great trip to the Holy Land December 27. This will be an eight-day tour of many of the places where Jesus walked while He was on earth. The cost for this trip is $3,580.00 per person. If you are interested in going, please make plans as soon as possible, so that you are included in reservations. Also, you must have an up-to-date Passport. It is a lot of money, but it is worth every penny. Keep on Praying. I Love You, Pastor J. D.
