Organized Seminar and workshops for manuscript studies. National Mission for Manuscripts (NMM) Trained P.G, M.Phil and Ph.D students to locate and document the manuscripts. Managing and Assisting to Director to run the 85 centres established in Academic Institutions, Universities and NGOs of Manuscript Resource Centres and Manuscript Conservation Centres across India. Guiding to document and prepare the National Catalogue Data bank for researchers Guiding to prepare the descriptive and subject-wise catalogues through reputed scholars Guided to technologist of NIC to prepare the National software e-granthavali for National Databank. Trained about 1000 scholars of MRCs and Universities to work on manuscripts. Organized 13 basic courses and 5 advanced level courses to train the young students of universities and Academic Institutions. About 800 researchers participated and almost students are engaged in various jobs of NMM and elsewhere. Taught Manuscriptology such as collation, editing, preparation of indexes, history of writing and paleography as well as cataloguing and writing materials. Designed a course of studies on manuscriptology of Certificate, Diploma, P.G. Diploma or regular course in Master degree and M.Phil degree. The course or syllabus was sent to maximum number of Universities and academic institutions including UGC and Department of Education, Govt. of India to introduce the Manuscriptology and Paleography in Universities and to promote young generation for manuscript studies. 2

Approached UGC to undertake the Manuscriptology programme in the courses of degree studies and create some teaching posts like Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, Curator, Conservator, Scribe, Manuscript Assistant, Manuscript Editor and Preservation Officer for manuscript studies and take care of manuscripts. Approached UGC for including the Science of Manuscriptology and Paleography Applied Paleography in NET and Ph.D programme of UGC as separate group like Sanskrit and other subjects Prepared the syllabus for Manuscriptology Advanced Diploma course, Self Finance in BHU, Varanasi, 2007 Prepared the syllabus and course work of M A regular course on Manuscriptology in BHU, Varanasi, 2010 Planned and established 6 Gurukula Centres in India to give intensive training on critical editing of 10 students and transcribing from one script to another of 20 students each year under the supervision of senior scholars of Universities.
