Lee Koning went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 4. We extend our sincere sympathy to his wife Pat and children David & Desiree and Sue & Brian Isenhoff and their families. Services were held in Grand Rapids, MI this past Wednesday and here at Faith this past Thursday evening. Correspondence can be sent to Pat at 2624 Village Circle Ct. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. We also extend our Christian sympathy to Henry & Phyllis Van Kampen on the death of Henry s brother, Marvin Van Kampen. Services were held this past Monday. May the love, mercy, and comfort of our God be with these families as they go through the difficult time of bereavement. Michael Holtrop had a severe flare-up of Crohn s disease this week and had to be in the hospital for several days. Judy Rispens had abdominal surgery this week to deal with an infection. The surgery seems to have gone well, but it will take Judy a while to recover.

Ken Van Byssum, Jr., has gotten very good test results back the last couple weeks. He is cancer-free at this point, but is still consulting with doctors to decide whether to do surgery to reduce the risk of the cancer returning later. Garry Wieringa is finished with chemo at this point, but is in the midst of some tests and appointments to figure out options for surgery. Remember to pray for those who are unable to join us in worship. Today we think of Herb & Gen Torringa who live in Park Place of Elmhurst. I want to thank everyone for their prayers, cards and visits when I was sick. Also thanks to Pastor Lanser for his visits and calls and Pastor Schuringa for his calls. I m very thankful to Elder Ken Huizinga for his calls, visits and all he did for me. A big thanks to Karen & Susan in the church office who send me the bulletin and dvds every week. I really do enjoy them and look forward to receiving them each week. Sis Bosman Thank you for the encouraging cards and prayers during Ken s treatment for cancer. We re grateful for your prayers and for how God has worked! Ken, Jr. & Jan Van Byssum ANNOUNCEMENTS Children's Church would love to use your gift of piano playing if you are willing to share it!
