Spotlight advertisers are chosen at random. Hastings Pack 92 for boys and girls K-5 meets at SEAS School. pack92committee@gmail.com Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 15. Pro-Life Action Ministries will once again be organizing Caroling for Life at the three open abortion facilities in the Twin Cities area. Caroling will be from 8 10:00 am. One thing we would like to do this year is have church choirs (or several members of church choirs) lead the caroling. If we have six choirs, the choirs can each take a one hour shift in leading the caroling. Please let me know if your church choir will commit to help in this way. Visit seasparish.org/pro-life-ministries for more Respect Life programs, articles and ministries. Do it online at seasparish.org/ join-the-parish. Or call the office and we will send you a form! Registration helps us keep you informed of important news and events, so if you don t receive mailings from us, you re probably not registered. Please do so today! seasparish.org/fof Join us for dinner on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome; we only ask that you reserve a spot at stritaparishmission.eventbrite.com or call 651-459-4596. There is no cost for this event, but a free will offering will be taken.
seasparish.org/dominus-est seasparish.org/confirmation When my grandfather was dying, the priest came and anointed him, then said he would give him viaticum. What is that? Viaticum comes from a Latin word meaning provision for the journey. It refers to the rite of giving Communion to a person near death. People often think of last rites as anointing of the sick, but there are several sacramental rites that we can receive at the end of our lives, including penance and Eucharist. The Eucharist is the completion of the Christian s life on earth and the beginning of eternal life. Prepare (or purchase) and deliver a gluten-free meal to our priests on a Wednesday evening. See Faith or email fsiebenaler@seasparish.org for open dates and more details about this great opportunity to share your culinary gifts! A big thank you to everyone who gave their time and blood on Friday, October 12. We collected 64 units of life-saving blood and beat our goal! Please put our next drive on your calendar for March 22, 2019. We ll see you then! Find open dates at seasparish.org/our-ministries. seasparish.org/perpetual-adoration The best thing you can do for your family is pray for them. The adoration chapel is a great place to visit Our Lord, feel His presence and peace, and ask for His help.
