But the LORD did not leave us without weaponry, in fact He gave us a very highly technical defense and offence system: The Belt of Truth, Eph.6:14, in Isa.11:5 it was prophesied of Christ that He would be girdle with righteousness and faithfulness; as do we with the Word of Truth! 2nd The Breastplate of Righteousness; Eph.6:14, What is our most important stewardship? Our heart: So sanctifying, righteous living is what guards our heart, always raising the bar of our walk: 3rd Our feet sod with the preparation of the gospel; Eph.6:15, we need to make certain that footing is sure as we enter into enemy territory: 4th Shield of Faith; Eph.6:16, any holes in our faith need to be fixed now! Any doubts get them resolved: 5th The Helmet of Salvation; Eph.6:17, that is our seal guarantee by the Holy Spirit: 6th The Sword of the Spirit; Eph.6:17, the Word of God: This requires proficiency, practices, propelling, to become a Marksman: 7th The Heavy Artillery; Eph.6:18. On Sunday the Arab League held an emergency meeting in Cairo and subsequently stated that it would request the Security Council to impose a no-fly zone over Gaza, a move the 22-member League should have taken years ago. Such demand reflects the overwhelming will of the Arab people and is legitimate in accordance with the UN Charter. Article 1 of the UN Charter reads, "the Purposes of the United Nations are to maintain international peace and security, and to that end: To take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace..." Zec 12:5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God. Truly the hour is at hand! As for us lets keep our eyes upon Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. In an attempt to put more pressure on Israel and rally the world around an anticipated declaration of independence, it is being reported that Palestinian Authority Prime Minster Salam Fayyad said that the Palestinians were ready for statehood. According to an article in the Jerusalem Post Fayyad is reported as saying: Palestinian Authority Prime Minster Salam Fayyad said on Tuesday he is confident his government will have the institutional framework in place by the end of the summer necessary to win global support for an independent Palestinian state.
