The renewal of the Eagle Pastor Daniel Praniuk
We are in a time where we are constantly breathing air changes, especially in everything related to our Spiritual Lives Everything changes, everything happens, but the wisest thing to do is to strengthen yourself in the face of these adversities to become winners and not losers. You can not run away No place for fear No place for doubts No place to cry and feel lonely.
Let s look at Isaiah 40:31 The renewal of the Eagle This has been an inspiration to many lives and a time of new strenght.
The eagle is the bird that has greater longevity within its species, it can live up to 70 years. But to reach that age, in the middle of his life he has to take a serious and difficult decision. At age 40 his curved and flexible nails are so long that they can not catch the prey on which he feeds, his elongated pointed beak begins to curve against his chest dangerously and his wings, aged and heavy by the thick feathers, they make flying a very complicated task. That's when the eagle has to make a decision between two alternatives: Let yourself die or face a painful renewal process that will last about one hundred and fifty days.
This process consists of flying towards the top of a mountain and taking refuge in a nest next to a wall, where it does not need to fly. Then, the refugee eagle will begin to strike its beak against the wall until it is able to pluck it; once it has been torn off, it will have to wait for a new peak to emerge with which, later, it will have to tear off its old nails. When the new nails begin to be born, it will be time to get rid of their old feathers by plucking them with their new beak. After five very hard months where it has a strong and young beak, shiny and silky feathers and useful nails, the eagle will be victorious, executing its flight of renewal and from then on it will have 30 more years of life.
During our lives We experience important circumstances very similar to history, in which decisions must be taken to start a renewal process. In many occasions fears and insecurity leave us paralyzed, to the point of finding ourselves in a situation of doubt and unable to see about our circumstances.
The transformation is based on stopping for a moment and analyze what is happening. We must make the decision to transform or die. Get rid of the things that pull us down As the eagle does when detaching from that beak, nails and plumage, it is not always easy. It will not be easy for us to be renewed, but it is desperately needed. It takes disciple, pain, effort, determination. Are we willing to pay the price????
Although it represents a painful process that has to go through, but the result is well worth it, know how to apply the transformation process in our lives and determine when it is time to change and improve is not impossible, I show you these tools that They can facilitate this process:
1. Accept that there is a need to improve your life The main thing is to want eagerly to be better to decide to start with the transformation. To stop what we are doing for a moment and look deep inside of us like the fish in the fish tank. When was the last time we took our spiritual lives for an X- Ray??
2. Define what you need Situations like: to change Lack of love to God Lack of love to others Lack of passion to witness Lack of forgiveness Resentments Lack of faith Unable to control our tongue These and many more affect GREATLY our need to soar like the eagle.
3. Time to act now!!!! Determination is the first step. Do not leave it for tomorrow, don t postpone it. Proverbs 28: 14: Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
4. Surrender to God, let go!!! Like the eagle, you need to let go. Release everything that prevents flying, and flying high, above your problems. You are not alone!!!! The Holy Spirit is there to help you..john 14:26: But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
What is waiting on God??? 5. Wait on the Lord, Isaiah 40:31 It s a lot more than sit down and wait The literal meaning of the word is to bind together like a cord. A piece of string cannot lift very much weight because it does not have very many strands in it. A piece of rope however can lift hundreds of pounds because it is made up of many strands. Just as a rope's strength comes from being made of many strands, so our strength comes through being united with Christ. Waiting on God means taking the time to have that unity with Him.
This is how you renew and gain new strength. This is how you rise up with wings like an eagle's. This is how you run through life and not get weary. This is how you walk through problems and adversity without fainting. By weaving all the strands together, you wait upon the Lord. It takes time, effort, to get to know God better, but that s where the strength of the Christian life is. If not let s ask an eagle if it s easy
Flying high teaches us to see all the problems from above, from the heights, not from the center, see the problem from a higher angle and always returning with an adequate response. We do that when we have the peace of God that comes after we wait on Him. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Learn to be like the eagle Your life will change!!
Have you decided? Either to be renewed like the eagle or die with things that held us back. Start right now,to wait on God and get new strength like the Eagle.
