About today s music: The prelude is one of six chorale preludes by Ethel Smyth (1841-1924), a significant English composer of her era. She wrote operas, a Mass, and other orchestral, chamber, and solo works. She was a suffragist in the English movement and was imprisoned for two months because of it. Today we welcome our Fort Street Choir back from summer break and look forward to them resuming their regular schedule on September 10. Guests seeking clothing and hygiene kits must present valid identification. Between 9 and 11am a full hot meal is served.
