Tamesha Rogers is the proud parent of two children, Cierra and Devonta. Born in Roxboro, NC, she is the daughter of Gladys Strange and the late Donnie Rogers. She is a 1997 graduate of Ragsdale High School and an upcoming May 2019 graduate of Liberty University School of Divinity in Lynchburg, Virginia. Tamesha will graduate with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion: Biblical and Theological Studies. While currently serving on the Women s Ministry at St. James, Tamesha is also a passionate student of the Word. She attends and participates in Bible Study and Sunday School. As a single parent, Tamesha has firmly set the example for her own children and other family members to continue to learn, but more importantly, to actively pursue a relationship with our Lord and Savior. Her favorite Scripture is Proverbs 31:10, Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies (KJV). Because she is priceless in the eyes of our Savior, she accepted her calling to preach the Gospel in 2010. Her desire is to please God by preaching and teaching His Word in obedience to Him and to serve with humility. Through God s favor and the mentorship of our great pastor, Tamesha is on her way to become a vital part of new ministries here at St. James. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard what God has in store for this mighty woman of God.
