EVEN though you are reading this in July, I m writing it June 21, the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. I d like to offer some reflection on this special time and wish you the blessings of the season. Summer s light and warmth is a time for gladness and celebration. Here in the San Diego area, we can become complacent about beautiful, sunny days, so especially for us, we might think about the places where the snows have finally melted and the ground has thawed..a true awakening! Mother Nature has once again renewed herself. Spending much of my life in Chicago, I can certainly relate! Summer evokes images of bright, bright sunshine, golden afternoons spent with ice cold lemonade and slices of juicy watermelon, swinging in a hammock on a warm beach. During summer, everything seems to be more vibrant, hopeful and liberating. The solstice is a time to reflect on the blessings that we have received in seasons past and visualize new abundance that is forthcoming, paying tribute to the sun s magnificence. This day the sun reaches the peak of its power. We can be like a tiny seedling, planted in the ground, ready to be nurtured to its full potential. Let your brilliance shine thru at full strength as we progress through this beautiful summer season. What s Up? New Faces, New Classes A big welcome to Debra Zachau and Zach Cameron, who will be facilitating workshops this month. Debra comes to us from Seattle and is, in her words, a Lightworker that desires a community. Her interests are in meditation and channeling, intuition building, magic, tarot and prayer. She has counseled many people in many areas of life, from face-to-face to international phone lines. I just know that our Library community will be a perfect fit and am so glad she has decided to move down the coast! Check out her interview on page 2 and class listings on pages 3 and 4. Debra will also be available for private readings. Zach will be acquainting us with the concept of Physics, a theory that touches on all fields of science. He thinks outside the box and wants to encourage others to question everything and not take for granted established norms. Zach wants to provide an environment for others that would allow them to open their minds and hearts to greater realities..wow! That s a tall order and I, for one, can t wait to hear all about it. Izabelle Doucet interviews Debra Zachau Page 2 Izabelle: Good afternoon Debra It is a real pleasure to welcome you at the Philosophical Library where you intend to give Tarot readings and also teach some classes. So our readers understand better who you are and the nature of your classes, I would like to ask you a few questions: Tell me about yourself. Debra: I started hearing Angelic choirs and began communicating with Angels and other spirits at around 6 years old. I was raised Christian in a family that was not religious, but later on in life, I felt compelled to study different religions and ended up choosing Spiritualism, for the simple reason that it allowed me to commune directly with the Divine. I explored Metaphysics, numerology, astrology, palmistry, and the Tarot and decided to specialize in Tarot. Izabelle: Tell me the reason you opted for the Tarot Debra: First and foremost, I was influenced by a marvelous teacher who gave me confidence in my own knowingness" and helped me build self-esteem around my intuition. She was casual and peaceful, just the way I see my classes. I use the Tarot as a focal point and gateway to my own knowingness to provide guidance. This reveals the issue a person may be struggling with, the direct past actions that were taken and how that person feels about her/himself within the situation. The cards also show the most probable future if no change on the path is undertaken. My intuition is always in play and this is what brings value to a reading. Izabelle: Will you be available for private readings? Debra: Of course! I love doing readings for people! I do private readings by phone and in person at the Library. My fee is $60 an hour with a minimum of 15 minutes. Just call and I simply send a PayPal link for payment. A person can receive a reading fast, right when a crisis is filling the room so to speak. The faster you can create a calm space around a complicated situation the faster you can get back to a balanced life. Izabelle: What is the name of the class that you will be teaching at the Library? Debra: The class I am introducing is called, Grow Your Light", where you learn how to trust your intuition to live an authentic spiritual life. My students will discover that enlightenment is quick and easy and available at all times. Every student will leave my class with a healthy spiritual direction anchored within them. No one will leave still questioning what their purpose is. Bring your depression and your confusion! Together we will sort it out! Everyone will receive a personalized reading. Page 3 Izabelle Doucet interviews Zach Cameron Izabelle: Tell me about yourself and what has brought you to this point. Zach: I grew up in a family with a father who was in advanced mathematics, and mainly left brain thinker and a mother who was a yoga instructor, mainly a right brain thinker. I can say that I was strongly influenced by my father in the first part of my life, played football and was highly interested in mainstream science and mathematics up until 4 years ago when my creative side took over and I decided to learn piano and I also began to teach myself a foreign language, studied abroad in Russia, read books and accumulated a library and built a garden, opening my mind to a whole new reality. For example, people at large reject the concept of extraterrestrials, while I consider it a field of study and it would not make sense for us to be alone in an infinite universe. What I want to emphasize here is the fact that I began to question everything, especially what has been taught to me in school, and I encourage others to do the same, even for topics like the earth revolving around the sun, which is not an accurate description of our solar system. There are many concepts that definitely need to be questioned instead of going along with the consensus reality we have conformed to think is real. We have been led to believe that time, space and matter are real when in fact, they are an illusion and we are all one spectrum of vibration. This realization has deeply influenced me. Izabelle: Tell me about the class you want to teach at the Philosophical Library. Zach: I want to teach sympathetic vibrational physics, which sounds much harder than it is. Simply put, everything is connected through different expressions of music and numbers. We see a specific vibration of light, we hear a specific vibration of sound, and our mind is tuned to a specific vibration of experience. As an analogy, your TV set is receiving all TV channels at all times, but is tuned to one channel at a time when you are watching a program. Just like the television, our mind is always receiving many channels but is tuned to one your reality. The humans who can "change the channel" and dare question the validity of the norm realities are often construed as "crazy". I intend to explain why we all can be crazy Izabelle: What is special about vibration? Zach: Vibration is very fundamental to reality and can help answer THE question: who/why/where/how/what am I? Vibration has been repeatedly condemned without investigation while Atomic Theory, Evolution, and various religious beliefs take its place. Materialism and greed, which crushes beneficial scientific discovery, derives from the belief that we are accidental life who live one time in a small world we can only hear, taste, touch, smell, and feel. Vibration connects and expands upon all fields of science and religion and has a natural method of implanting morals. From studying vibration, I learned that our world is a reflection of our mind, I learned that Earth naturally provides everything life needs, and I learned there is no correct or incorrect choice, only good and bad experiences that teach us a lesson. Izabelle: Who do you believe should attend your class? Zach: People who are open-minded, people who have a desire to learn about themselves, people who often question the validity of everything they have learned in school or other forms of mainstream education that does not truly resonate with them. Izabelle: Anything else you would like to say? Zach: Yes. I feel this knowledge is invaluable and may lead to significant realizations and changes; it has changed my life.
