(He died 15th June 1879). 1879 S eptember 22 birth of daughter Rebecca Walker Smith at Collycroft. She was b aptised at Bedworth, but died before 1881. 1881 D avid 41, a butcher and grocer living at Turnpike Road, C ollycroft with wife Mary Ann 30, and daughter Ellen 10, a s cholar. 1882 D ecember 7 birth of daughter F lorence Matilda. 1883 F ebruary 1 b aptism at Bedworth of Florence Matilda 1884 J une 11 b irth of son David Walk er Smith, baptised at Bedworth. (He d ied, unmarried June 20th 1959). B edworth old church 1888 J anuary 25 b irth of daughter Edith, baptised at Bedworth Old Church. She never married, became headteacher at Cheylesmore School and d ied January 22 1936. 1891 D avid 51, butcher with wife Mary Ann 46, unmarried daughter E llen 20, hat trimmer, daughter Florrie 9, son David 3, both scholars and 3 year- o ld daughter Edith. All living at Collycroft.
