Craig Christina Senior Pastor Dear Church Family... Easter is an awesome time of year as we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We have several special events in April to help us celebrate. First, Ella Prichard, personal friend and author of the book Reclaiming Joy: A Primer for Widows, will share a testimony in worship on April 7 and speak at the ladies luncheon on April 13. Based on the book of Philippians, Reclaiming Joy will greatly bless every married or widowed woman and will be sold for a discount at church. Palm Sunday, April 14, we break the fast with one worship service and a churchwide potluck picnic. You are assigned a food item to bring based on the first letter in your last name. (See below). Bring something familiar to you or from your cultural background. Maundy Thursday, April 18, at 7:00 p.m. we have a solemn Lord s Supper service as we reflect on the tremendous sacrifice Jesus suffered on the cross. Easter Sunday is also one worship service on April 21. We will have invite bags ready for you to hand out to prospective guests. Whom will you invite? Continue praying for them. Finally, pray for the Worship Evaluation Team and our church as we seek God s will on combining worship services. God is speaking to our church, and I praise Him for His faithfulness! The best is yet to come at Shiloh Terrace, and God wants us to join Him in the new thing He will do. Your servant in Christ, Pastor Craig What to Bring to the STBC Potluck Picnic Family Favorites!
