Bible Verses for Father's Day 1 Chronicles 29:17 I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity... Deuteronomy 1:29-31 Then I said to you, "Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the desert. There you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place." Joshua 1:9...Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 24:15 "And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." 1 Kings 15:11 And Asa did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as David his father had done. Malachi 4:6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse. Psalm 103:13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him. Proverbs 3:11-12 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. Proverbs 3:32 For the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence. Proverbs 10:9 The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out. Proverbs 14:26 In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge. Proverbs 17:24 A discerning man keeps wisdom in view, but a fool's eyes wander to the ends of the earth. Proverbs 17:27 A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered. Proverbs 23:22 Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. 3

What has been going on at Faith Temple? by Alyssa Jackson, Youth Editor Faith Temple is going to experience God more often in 2018, Bishop Michael Cole, Vice President of the World Missions Department, said during the annual shut in at the beginning of the year. This prophetic word has shown itself to be true, especially in the past few weeks. As the year began, the services that were held at Faith Temple would have more moments where the Lord would take control of the service beyond what the congregants would be used to. These precious moments would not be confined to just being before the main offering was taken. The Lord saw fit to ease this church into this new season by making His presence known in different parts of the service and more often Tragically, the death of Omari Kitwana Boyd-Mathews was announced at Faith Temple on Sunday, April 8th, just a week after Easter. Elder Succes gave the morning message and lead a powerful altar call. He instructed the parents in the room to pray over their children for protection and for the salvation of the households. The Lord made His presence known in every service in the month of May. It seemed like it was just business as usual on Pentecost Sunday, but Bishop Moody was lead to have those who have not received the baptism of the Holy Ghost to ask for it after he was done preaching. Though there were only a few people who sought to be baptized, people were still able to worship God and experience His presence. Even after the service was officially over, people still were praying and worshiping God. It has been a long time since there has been an overflow service at Faith Temple, but the Lord blessed those who were there. To those who may see these services as a nuisance or doing too much, I d encourage you with this scripture. Romans 12:15 says Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. If you are not connecting with the Lord during these services I would challenge you to praise God for the way He is touching His people. Yes, the services have been getting longer, but people are getting healed, delivered, and set free. God has been manifesting Himself to Faith Temple lately so do not miss out on what He s doing. But as Elder Succes said, If you did not get a touch from the Lord, it is because you did not want it. Come one, come all: Bring the sick, the lame, the depressed, the down-trodden and all manner of illness. Be Healed, Be Delivered and Be Set-free as as Mother Cynthia Williams teaches on HEALING!
