He is visiting the US as a guest of the NE PA Synod, and took part in the Synod Assembly this week on June 8 and 9. Sunday June 10 he will be our guest in worship at St. Peter s at 9AM. See the Production of JESUS At Sight and Sound Millennium Theatre Strasburg, PA August 15, 2018 -- Tickets $105.00 FULL AMOUNT DUE with SIGNUP. Last day to sign up and pay is July 1. Price includes: transportation by Perkiomen Bus Tours, tickets for Sight and Sound show JESUS, Family Style dinner at Hershey Farm Restaurant and a tip for the bus driver. The bus will leave Light of Christ at 11:30 AM for the 3 PM show; after the show, enjoy a family-style dinner at the Hershey Farm Restaurant from 6-7:15 PM. Thrift Shop Donations Please! Doing some spring cleaning or bringing out your summer clothes? Please keep the Southside Thrift Shop in mind! The South Side Thrift Shop is looking for donations of housewares (dishes, glasses, trays, pots & pans, small appliances) as well as summer clothing. They have great items and great prices too! UPG volunteers help at the store on the 2 nd and 4 th Tuesdays of each month it s fun to help and the shop serves people in need. Family Fun at Bethlehem Steel Soccer Kids Activities and professional soccer game! Bethlehem Steel vs. the Indy Eleven! In the Mailbox This week, we received a thank you note from Herb and Mirta Heffner, long-time members of St. Peter s who recently moved to North Carolina: To Pastor Jerry and Shirley and to all the congregational members of St. Peter s, That wonderful farewell you gave us will be remembered forever. Your love for us and our musical talents touched us deeply and created a very moving emotional experience for Mirta and me. As Miss Liz said in her card, we will always be a part of the St. Peter s family. We miss all of you and will keep in touch when we are settled in our new home.
