DR. WOODS PREACHES AT SHILOH BAPTIST IN MCDONOUGH On Sunday, January 15th, Dr. Woods served as the guest preacher during the 11:00 am Worship Services at Shiloh Baptist Church in McDonough. Shiloh is one of the oldest and largest Missionary Baptist Churches in Henry County and for the past 42 years has been led by Dr. Edward W. Lee. He and his lovely wife, Mrs. Betty Lee, have cultivated a wonderful environment of love and compassion; and have drawn persons from far and near to their Macon Street location. They meet for worship each Sunday morning at 8:00 and 11:00 am and hold Bible Study each Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. Regardless to where you live; a church that is alive is well worth the drive. DR. WOODS TEACHES AT GREATER PINEY GROVE BAPTIST CH. On Sunday, January 22, The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church of Atlanta held its Annual Christian Education Day. Dr. Woods served as the Guest Teacher for approximately 150 Sunday School staff, teachers and students. For the past 21 years The Grove has been led by Dr. William Flippin, Sr. Greater Piney Grove is a very diverse ministry, having a conglomerate of ministries to meet the needs of its evergrowing congregation and the community at large. DR. WOODS PREACHES AT FAIRFIELD BAPTIST CHURCH On Sunday, January 29, Dr. Woods served as the Guest Preacher during the Morning Worship Services at Fairfield Baptist Church in Lithonia. Fairfield is one of the oldest and largest Missionary Baptist Churches in Lithonia and for the past 33 years has been led by Pastor Michael Benton. He and his wife, Mrs. Yvonne Benton, are wonderful hosts and they lead the congregation in showing everyone genuine love and compassion. They meet for worship each Sunday morning at 7:45 and 10:45 and they hold Bible Study each Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. DR. WOODS TEACHES AND PREACHES AT THE PATH On Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4, Dr. Woods led an Expository Teaching and Preaching Workshop at The PATH Worship Center in Augusta, GA. This Workshop was climaxed on Sunday, February 5 as Dr. Woods engaged the workshop participants in a Question and Answer Session and then preached during the Worship Services. For the past twelve years, The PATH has been led by Dr. Robert Williams. Dr. Williams is a student and practitioner of good Biblical Exposition and he wanted his leaders and those from surrounding churches to be exposed to the instructions and demonstrations shared by Dr. Woods. The PATH meets each Sunday for Worship at 12:30 pm and if you visit them you will appreciate their loved for God and for the Word of God. DR. WOODS PREACHES AT LUTHER RICE SEMINARY CHAPEL On Tuesday, February 7 and on Thursday, February 9, Dr. Woods served as the Preacher during the Chapel Services at Luther Rice. These were the first Chapel Services of the Spring 2012 Semester and these worship gatherings will continue each Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 am until the latter part of April. Luther Rice Seminary is led by Dr. James Flanagan and the school is known for its position on the inerrancy of Scripture, it s equipping of ministers and leaders and its international missionary work in Europe and in the Caribbean. In addition to speaking in Chapel, Dr. Woods serves as a member of the Board of Directors and as an Adjunct Professor. Dr. Woods hold three graduate degrees from the School and he recommends Luther Rice to anyone seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree in Ministry, Bible, Counseling, Chaplaincy, Apologetics or Theology. INTRODUCING PASTOR AL ROBINSON While conducting the Preaching Workshop at The PATH Worship Center in Augusta on February 3-5, Dr. Woods met a wonderful man of God and his equally wonderful wife; Rev. Al Robinson and Mrs. Joyce Robinson. For the past three years, Rev. Robinson has served in Wrens, GA as the senior pastor of the Smith Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Robinson became absolutely excited over the teaching he received in the Preaching Workshop and he left both days telling his friends and associates of all that he had heard. Rev. Robinson, like all senior pastors, has a very challenging responsibility in leading the people of God. Most church members are like sheep but some are like goats and all have issues that must be given attention.
