Dear Friends, We are delighted to invite you to join us for the Israel Museum s 2019 International Council, which will take place from Sunday evening, June 2, through Wednesday evening, June 5. This year s Council, on the theme of From Thought to Form, will focus particularly on the fascinating creative process behind the curation and production of our exhibitions from concept to completion. This theme expands upon the behind-the-scenes glimpses into the multi-faceted inner workings of the Museum which have proved so popular with Council participants in recent years. This will take place against the backdrop of our diverse program of current exhibitions, while also offering an exclusive sneak preview into our 2020 exhibition program. Our rich program of activities and events will open with our traditional opening reception on Sunday evening, hosted by the Federmann family at the King David Hotel, and culminate with a festive closing dinner at a surprise venue. In between, we will enjoy curator-led tours of current exhibitions; hands-on workshops; meetings with guest artists, curators, and professional staff; a Gala Dinner; tours to galleries and collections; a visit to Tel Aviv; talks and discussions with distinguished guest speakers; and much more. We look forward to welcoming you in June to Jerusalem and to the Museum, and encourage you to register early for what promises to be another exciting and enriching International Council. Warm regards, Maureen Cogan Co-Chair of the International Council Marion Naggar Co-Chair of the International Council Isaac Molho Chairman of the Board of Directors Professor Ido Bruno Anne and Jerome Fisher Director The Israel Museum, Jerusalem P.O.B. 71117, Jerusalem 9171002 Tel. 972-2-670-8890, Fax 972-2-670-8993
