Page 4 CHRISTIAN EDUCATION TEAM Sunday School The holidays are fast approaching and we are busy in the Sunday School program with a full Fall/Winter Schedule to keep the children engaged in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We wanted to send out the newsletter to let the parents know how they can be active participants in the discipleship that the experience of Sunday School fosters at Lakehurst Presbyterian Church. We know the Holidays are a busy time for every family. Having this schedule should make it just a bit easier for all of us to give the children a wonderful Church Holiday program. There will be a Christmas program during service on Sunday, December 17th. It will be an old fashioned type Christmas program that we think would be a joy both for the children and the congregation and instill the message of Christ s birth into their hearts. There will be 2 practices for the Christmas program. Sunday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 10th during normal Sunday school time. A holiday family fun night is also being planned for the children on Friday, December15th. We hope to make it a special night with cookies, crafts, and games just like last year for the enjoyment and fellowship of both the parents and the children! After the holidays Pastor Donna Lepsky is having a communion education class for parents with a date of January 14th after services. Please some with questions that she will be more than happy to answer about how she can help you navigate this beautiful personal experience with your children. PROPERTY TEAM
