They will receive the body and blood of Christ in the Sacrament of First Communion. So to help them on this long journey we have found a prayer for them. In hope it will give them braveness and hope. Michaela and Tyrone Student Principals For A Day. Our Lord Jesus, we believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. We love you above all things, and we pray you will guide these students to your home in heaven. They will receive you into their souls. We believe it because you have said it and we are ready to give their life to maintain this truth. Amen Our Lady Help of Christians Parish Mass Times Saturday 6pm Sunday 8.30am & 6pm

They spent last Friday with Mr Luck, performing the tasks normally done by the Principal. Last Friday we had our student principals run the school. Tyrone and Michaela were guided by Mr. Luck and they had great fun and enjoyed seeing how much hard work our teachers put into their learning. They did many thing like meetings, assembly, yard duty and seeing all the classes do hard work. On the 9 th of June was a holiday. It was a holiday because it was the Queen s birthday. We had a great long weekend and have started our hard work again. Coming up on Friday the 13 th is our school birthday you could say. We celebrate Sacred Heart Day with a Mass in the Church at 9am. After recess our celebrations continue in the school grounds and our SRC and school captains have organised great games like large snakes and ladders, water play, twister and lots of other fun games. This weekend, many of our students will receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist. This will take place at each of the weekend masses in the Parish. We ask you to pray for these children and support them in their faith journey. As the weather has started to get colder we remind our students to wear plain red jumpers. If you don t have one you can buy one at the office.
