Jim Lancaster Know Someone Who Needs Prayers There are many times in our lives when we come across someone who could use extra prayers especially in these difficult times. As Catholics we know that the most perfect prayer is the Mass and no other prayer that we say would benefit them as much. Consider having a Mass said for your loved ones, living or deceased. Simply come to the office to pick from many available dates and Mass times. There is a suggested donation of $10 for each Mass intention that you request. If you have moved, had an addition to the family, death in the family or change in marital status, change in phone number, please contact the parish office. Knights of Columbus Council 9312 present a Summer Food Drive to benefit the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The food drive will be held on the weekend of September 7 th and 8 th in the narthex of the church. During the summer time, all charities experience reduced giving and low inventories. You can help a hungry family with your generous gift! Please bring only non-perishable food and new personal care items. No green beans, corn, or peanut butter is needed at this time. We especially need toilet paper, paper towels, new personal care items such as deodorant and hand soap, dish soap, canned chicken, spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, beef stew, Vienna sausages, Tuna Helper, instant potato flakes. Monetary donations are also very welcome! Please bring your donations to church and a volunteer will accept them before or after Mass. 2
