MASS SCHEDULE WEEKEND

My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Christ is Born!!

Christ. has no body now but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours.

Jesus summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two, giving them authority over unclean spirits.

And the Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us, and we saw His glory, the glory as of the Father s only Son, full of grace and truth.

AUGUST 7, 2016 PAGE 3 From the Pastor s Desk... PRAYER APOSTOLATES... My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, We welcome Abbé Weaver home for his summer visit. He will be speaking at all of the Masses this weekend. Thank you for your continued generous support of his priestly vocation. August 15 th, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year. However, please e note that in addition to our regular Mass times, there is a special Mass at 7:00 p.m. Please use these opportunities to seek Our Blessed Lady s intercession for peace throughout our troubled world. You might notice that our collection from last week is the lowest that we have had in a long time. Perhaps it is because it was the 5 th Sunday of the month or perhaps many families are away enjoying a last summer trip before school begins; but whatever the reason, please remember that we rely on your generosity to continue to support the important work of our parish. We continue to pay the salaries of our teachers from Sacred Heart of Jesus through August, and we have a financial obligation to our new Corpus Christi Academy. We need your help to continue bringing the Faith to our children and to the larger community. Thank you for your kind consideration. May God s Blessings be yours this week.
