CELEBRATION OF GIVING LITANY MINISTER: It is now time for us to share in giving. Why do we give? CONGREGATION: We give because all we have comes from God. According to Deuteronomy 8:18, it is God who gives us the power to get wealth. MINISTER: Why do we give? CONGREGATION: We give because God commands us. Malachi 3:10 states that we are to bring the full tithe into God s storehouse. MINISTER: Why do we give? CONGREGATION: We give because God said in Luke 6:38, to give and He would give back to us a more abundant blessing. MINISTER: Why do we give? CONGREGATION: We give because 2 Corinthians 9:7 states that God loves a cheerful giver. ALL: Thank you Lord, for the privilege of giving. We are excited about paying the tithe and giving the offering. We know that you are faithful to your promises. Therefore, we trust you in faith to do what you have said. AMEN!

FELLOWSHIP DINNER JANUARY 20, 2019 AFTER WORSHIP SERVICE Dear Mt. Calvary Family: We will be hosting our first Third Sunday Fellowship Dinner for 2019 on January 20th after the 10 a.m. worship service. Special thanks are extended to members who participated in the preparation, clean up, purchases and donations in the past. The Culinary Ministry will lead this effort, but we are asking others to assist. The cost of the dinner this month will be $12 for barbecue chicken (white or dark meat]. The primary purpose for sponsoring the fellowship dinners is to allow members to relax after church service and fellowship with each other. All proceeds in excess of the cost of the meals will be donated to the church s building fund. To assist with planning and preparations, advance purchases for January can be made before and after the worship service on January 6 and 13, 2019 outside of the Leon Grant Family Life Center. This will help us estimate the number of dinners to prepare. We are hoping that most individuals will purchase meals in advance. We welcome individuals to sit and fellowship with each other, but if you cannot, dinners-to-go will be available. Tribes may want to consider coming together at this time and having a Tribe Fellowship Dinner in the Leon Grant Family Life Center. The meal will consist of barbecue chicken (white meat breast and wing - or dark meat leg and thigh), cabbage, yellow rice, roll, dessert and beverage (bottled water or soda). For additional information or to volunteer, please contact Shirley Johnson at 301-946-5486 or Brenda Shelton at 301-680-7920. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORDER FORM PLEASE PRINT Name Phone Number # of Dinners Meal Cost $12 each Barbecue Chicken White Meat Breast/Wing Barbecue Chicken Dark Meat Leg/Thigh Amount Due Special Instructions: Date Received: Amount Due: Amount Paid: Received By:
