But Momma! I want to hear the story again. Please!!! Little Lamb begged his Momma. You finish up your supper and later when you re all ready for bed I ll tell it again, my sweet Little Lamb. Momma Lamb replied. Little Lamb was happy to hear this. He knew his Momma got tired of telling the story over and over. Little Lamb never got tired of it. Did you brush your teeth? Momma Lamb inquired. Little Lamb nodded he had. Then you get your story. MARCH JUNE SEPT DEC Momma pulled up Little Lamb covers and began, Once upon a time on a farm very much like this one was a Ewe-lamb who looked remarkably like me. Little Lamb giggled at his Momma. This Ewe-lamb decided to gather some sweet grasses to eat for dinner. While she was gathering the grasses storm clouds started to develop. This was not normally a concern, but she was expecting the appearance of her only baby lamb and he was due anytime. Momma Lamb stroked the wool on Little Lambs head as she told the story. Deciding to head back to the barn it started to thunder and lighting. This made Ewe-lamb jump! By the time she made it to the barn it was raining, wind howling, thunder and lighting plenty. Naturally the Ewe-lamb started praying the storm would come and go quickly. You see Ewe-lamb knew her Heavenly Father loved her very much. Momma Lamb noticed Little Lamb was starting to get sleepy. As Ewe-lamb unloaded her sweet grasses and stepped into the house her sweet baby lamb decided to make his appearance. At the moment he made his first Baa Baa sound the storm stopped and the sun began to shine! How surprising and how wonderful, he was perfect in everyway. And to this day his Momma thanks her Heavenly Father for her sweet Little Lamb! He brings sunshine into everyone s life especially his Momma s! Momma Lamb quietly exited Little Lambs room for he was fast asleep.
Momma Lamb sat thinking about how God had blessed her and her Little Lamb. They had a roof over their head, sweet grasses to eat, family and friends, but most of all her Heavenly Father loved them both! She was indeed a very blessed Ewelamb. Hi boys and girls! Little Lamb here just wanted to share the story of when I got here. Momma tells this story often and says I m her sunshine. It always reminds me how much God loves me! How much He loves you too. You see He sent His only Son for us, to take away our disobedience (sin) and to live in our hearts. Jesus is our best friend forever! I m glad, aren t you? This scripture reminds us, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16. Until next time remember God loves you very much and so do we! Would you like another copy of this issue to share with a friend? It is not too hard!!! You don t have to understand everything in the Bible. When you read- pray and ask God to speak to you. He will! LISTEN to what the words say. When God speaks, certain words will stand out and seem important. Underline those words. Read them again, think about what they say. God is speaking to you through His Word! How Cool!!! 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
