We pray for the children and their parents, families and teachers as they prepare to receive the Lord for the first time in Holy Communion. Trócaire: To date the members of Kildysart parish have contributed 1,655.30 to the Trócaire 2018 Lenten appeal. Your generosity will make a real difference to the lives of a great many people. If you have still to make your contribution you are welcome to do so within the next week. Trócaire works on our behalf to promote Third World Development. Mass & anointing for people with disabilities & chronic illnesses will be celebrated in Ennis Cathedral on Wednesday, 16th May at 2 pm. Bishop Fintan Monahan will be chief celebrant & homilist. All are welcome. Parish Office will be closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. It will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:15 am until 2 pm. Rosary: The month of May is devoted to Our Lady. We will gather to pray the rosary at Our Lady s Grotto on the Ennis Road at 8 pm each Wednesday during May, beginning on Wednesday, 2nd May. Education Fund: The annual collection for the education of future priests will be taken up next weekend. Your generosity is always appreciated. World Meeting of Families: On Friday, 24th August at the World Meeting of Families Congress, the Munster Province (including Killaloe diocese) are invited to form a combined provincial choir to sing at two liturgies (9 am Morning Prayer in the Simmonscourt RDS, and 4 pm Eucharist in the RDS Arena). Kildysart Tidy Towns: The spring cleaning for this year will take place on 21st & 22nd of April. We are asking for volunteers to help clean the parish. Keep Kildysart Green and Clean. Ceol an Chláir: On Saturday, 21st April Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan will present "Ceol an Chláir" at Cois na habhna, Ennis, at 8 pm. This concert features some of Clare's finest musicians, such as Tim Collins, Denis Liddy, Mary Liddy, Mary MacNamara, Bríd O' Donoghue, Damien O' Reilly, Padraic O' Reilly and Garry Shannon.
