Ten Rules for Jumpstarting Your Intuition In 2018 1. Be Open to Your Intuition The first step in activating your intuition is to be open to it. As obvious as this seems, most people are not. Being open to your intuition is like turning on the receiver in your heart so you are able to pick up the subtle energetic signals that intuition sends out. If the receiver in your heart remains in the off position, you sadly remain disconnected from the greatest of your natural super powers and are left to struggle in the dark. All you need to do is decide that you are open to turn your own intuition on. 2. Expect Your Intuition to Work for You Recall any intuitive experiences you may have had in the past. Don t look for something dramatic. Intuition is far more often experienced in subtle ways that, if noticed, can make a big difference in how you interact with the world. For example, can you recall a time when you suddenly thought of someone, only to have that person call you or run into you soon after? These recollections demonstrate that your intuition already works. The more you expect it to work, the more it does. It s that simple.

3. Recognize How Your Intuition Works for You Because we are unique individuals, intuition shows up in our lives in unique ways. Some people perceive their intuition through visions. Others get intuitive hunches or feelings. For some, intuition shows up through sudden inspired ideas. Some connect with their intuition in dreams. Some hear an inner voice. Others just intuitively sense or know what is right or true for them though a general, overall, inexplicable knowing. Notice which of your senses intuition borrows to get your attention. Where in your body do you feel your intuitive hits? Your vibes? In your chest? In your throat? In your gut? All over your skin? All of the above? 4. Get into your Body The most immediate way to tune in to your vibes is by listening to and understanding the intuitive feedback of your physical body. It honestly and accurately reflects how energy impacts you on a vibrational level through physical signals such as aches, pains, flutters, ripples, tightness, fatigue, or even sickness. Every morning as you wake up, run a mental scanner over yourself from head to toe and see if you re getting any signals. Acknowledge what you re feeling and tell your body, I m listening. Notice the same throughout the day.

5. Meditate Meditation is the most effective way to sharpen intuition because it clears away the mental noise and distractions that prevent you from noticing what is important here and now. Meditation begins with focusing on your breath. First, gently close your eyes. With your eyes closed, continue to breathe in to the count of four, hold it to the count of four, and then exhale to the count of four. If thoughts arise simply observe them and then go back to your breath. Don't fight or struggle with each new thought. Observe it as though it is one of a string of train cars moving through the night, entering into and then drifting out of your consciousness. Continue breathing and relaxing for 15 minutes, then gently open your eyes and go about your day. 6. Get Clear on Your Intentions The function of intuition is to help guide you toward making the best possible decisions in your life. Intuition serves to direct your attention to the best ways of achieving goals, alert you to potential problems and dangers, and acts to protect you and keep you safely on our path. Make a list of your top three priorities and ask your intuition to guide toward their fulfillment every morning before you start your day. This gives your intuition an assignment.

7. Listen To Your Heart Every time you need guidance, counsel, direction or simple reassurance from Divine Spirit, close your eyes; take in a few deep-cleansing breaths, and then place your attention directly on your heart. Allow your focus to rest there quietly for a moment or two, and then ask your heart to guide you. An easy way to do this is to put your hand on your heart and say out loud: My heart says then fill in the blank. 8. Wonder Imagination is the front door to your intuition. It is not only the source of your intuitive ability; it is the source of all your ability. An exciting way to activate your intuitive imagination is through wonder. For example, wonder Who is calling when the phone rings? Where you'll find a parking space? When the elevator will come? Who people really are instead of judging by appearances? Wondering aloud immediately jumpstarts intuition.

9. Simplify It helps to tune into the subtle intuitive inner realm by having a calm and peaceful outer world. Start with your home. Keep it clean and organized and filled with beautiful things that comfort your Spirit. Everything is comprised of energy, and everything you own absorbs your energy. The same holds true for negative energy, however. It, too, will linger in an atmosphere, bringing you down with its dreary and brittle vibration. The best cure for this problem is to clean and clear out or throw away all that isn't necessary or used, or soothing to your spirit. 10. Act On Your Intuition Your intuitive guidance will likely call for a change of direction or ask you to re-think your ideas on things. Be ready to follow your guidance at any given moment. Trust what you feel and act on your intuition when you receive it. Be flexible. Change your plans if necessary. Speak up if you must. Breathe into your fear. Until you act on it, your intuition cannot help you. Let it.
