Psa 96:2-8 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; show forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his wonders among all people....for all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
4 th Wonder: What Christ inherits and what he does with it.
Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
What is the reward?
Psa 2:8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.
Psa 21:3-4 For thou dost meet him with goodly blessings; thou dost set a crown of fine gold upon his head. He asked life of thee; thou gavest it to him, length of days for ever and ever.
2 Chr 1:11-12 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.
1) Little ones studying are accounted for. Isa 40:9-12 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 2) Reward is measured in values assigned to the earth.
Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. Reward is in the context of those who destroy the earth.
We don t like to think of salvation as a reward: the Lord plentifully rewards the proud doer. Psa 31:23 He hath not rewarded us according to our iniquities. Psa 103:10 the dead: neither have they any more a reward. Ecc 9:5 to him with works: wages are not a gift but a reward Rom 4:4 Faith is counted as righteousness. (not works). Rom 4:5 Wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life. Rom 6:23
It is clear that there is a reward: Verily, there is a reward for the righteous. Psa 58:11 To him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. Pro 11:18 Christ: his reward is with him and his work before him. Isa 40:10 Persecuted: great is your reward in heaven. Mat 5:12 Cup of cold water: shall in no wise lose his reward. Mat 10:42 Faith: he is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb 11:6 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me. Rev 22:12
So what is the reward?
Col 3:23-24 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily as unto the Lord, and not unto men, Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance:
The meek shall inherit the earth.

Inheriting the earth means inheriting every conceivable beauty, richness, resource, and joy that the earth has to offer. It was all made by God, and it will all be given to Christ.
W H Y?
Because Christ is the only one that knows what to do with them.
Why Christ? Psa 112 His seed shall be mighty on the earth v. 2 Wealth and riches shall be in his house v. 3 His righteousness endures for ever v. 3 He is gracious, compassionate, righteous v. 4 He shows favor and lends v. 5 He [provides sustenance] runs his affairs [judicially] v. 5 His heart is [perfect] and established v. 6 He has dispersed and given to the poor v. 9 The wicked see it and are grieved; gnash their teeth v. 10 The desire of the wicked will perish v. 10
meaningless opulence
Luke 8:18 Take heed then how you hear ; for to him who has [produce] will more be given [from Christ], and from him who has not [works of faith], even what he thinks he has [the things of this world] will be taken away."
There will be no Glory for flesh in the kingdom. Only the Glory of God as he is with us in Christ.
Deu 33:19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
Isa 60:10-11 (RSV) Foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in my wrath I smote you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you. Your gates shall be open continually; day and night they shall not be shut; that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, with their kings led in procession.
Isa 60:4-5 (RSV) Lift up your eyes round about, and see; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be carried in the arms. Then you shall see and be radiant, your heart shall thrill and rejoice; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you.
Psa 72: Psa 72:15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised. South Africa holds 35% of global gold resources and exports 99% of gold output.
Isa 60:15-17 Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
REWARDER OF THEM THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM: If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight (Exo 15:26) Why do you spend your money on that which is not bread? Hearken diligently unto me; eat what is good. (Isa 55:3) You shall diligently keep the commandments (Due 6:17) And thou shalt teach them diligently (Deu 6:7) He that diligently seeks good procures favor (Pro 11:27) Be thou diligent to the state of thy flocks (Pro 27:23) Apollos: spake diligently the things of the Lord (Acts 18:24) Widow: if she diligently follows every good work (1Tim 5:10) Be diligent that you may be found of him in peace (2 Pet 3:14)
Christ alone is worthy. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Rev 5:11-12
