3 Honor Steps Girls will learn these steps during club, but please practice at home as well. Honor Step The Holy Spirit Memorize questions, answers, and verses with references. Q: What is the main purpose of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit? A: To have power and boldness to tell others about Jesus and the passion to help others. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 Q: How can I be baptized in the Holy Spirit? A: By praying in faith as the first disciples did. If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! Luke 11:13 Honor Step End Times Memorize questions, answers, and verses with references. Q: How do we know Jesus is coming again? A: The Bible tells us so. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 17 Q: Why should we be ready at all times for Jesus to come back? A: Because we don t know when He ll come. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. Matthew 24:44 Honor Step Introduction to The Church Memorize the Statement of Faith. I believe: 1. I can be a Christian because Jesus died for me. 6. I obey and remember Jesus when I take communion and am baptized in water. 7. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is God s gift to me. 8. When I am baptized in the Holy Spirit, I will speak in tongues. 9. With God s help, I can become more like Jesus. 10. God uses the Church to do His work. 11. God uses spiritual leaders to help me grow. 12. God heals. 13. Jesus is coming soon. 14. For a thousand years, Jesus will lead a time of peace on earth. 15.
