MVN TIMES PRIMARY NEWSLETTER OCTOBER - DECEMBER Edition 2018

Dear Parent It has been a lovely quarter with a huge range of activities and achievements across the curriculum. My first thank you is to the children who make the teaching job so worthwhile and my next to you, the parents for the support you give to the school. My final thanks is to the staff members. They really go above and beyond their call of duty and that is what makes MVN Sec-17 such a special place to be in. The winter season is here and it brings with it warmth of woollens, steaming bowls of soup, abundance of fruits, vegetables, flowers and outdoor activities in the sun. The children celebrated Dussehra and Diwali with zest and fervour in the month of October. The teachers talked to the children about things that they should be thankful for, importance of giving and sharing because November is all about Thanksgiving and about helping others who are less fortunate. December began with the sound of Jingle Bells humming in our ears. The children thoroughly enjoyed doing the Christmas craft and participated in Christmas Assembly with enthusiasm. Celebrations will continue in the New Year 2019 with the children celebrating various festivals like Lohri, The Republic Day and Holi - the festival of colours. Along with the celebration of upcoming events and festivals, we will also upgrade our knowledge in different subjects and dive into the world of knowledge. We would like to wish you all seasons greetings and hope you enjoy a well-deserved break with your families and loved ones. Regards Ms. Rupam Ms. Vandana Laul Primary Coordinators
