Jesus said, for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to waste, and there are many that enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow (to press, to afflict, looks limiting), that leads to life, and few there be that find it. 10%ers. Prov. 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. 2

Jesus impassionedly expressed he came to give us our life and that life had abundant dimensions to it. Jn. 10:10 Far more offensive to our God than our darkest sins is the unlived life we might lead. 3

Busy lives, preoccupied lives, successful lives, may not be a true reflection of you being alive. It is easy to live a full life in a role, but again this may not mean you have ever left the Matrix. 4

Matthew 7: 23, the dudes were casting out demons and doing miracles in Jesus s name yet Christ response to them was go away, I never knew, ginosko, you. This is a picture of profound intimacy, knowing. Who do you think most loves living their lives? 5

To have the courage to live our life, we need to believe that we have worth, value. Next we need to figure out what we value. Third, we need to live lives offering that value to those around us. 6

Never, never lie to yourself. What do you really like? Dostesky Prudence is a rich ugly old maid, courted by incapacity, moderation and comparison. William Blake Ultimately, your gift to the world is being who you are. It is both your gift and your fulfillment. A.H. Almans The priviledgeof a lifetime is being who you are. Joseph Campbell Life is either a daily adventure or nothing at all. Helen Keller Everything you want is just on the other side of your fears. Avoiding risk and failure means avoiding transencdent success. Babe Ruth was the home run king but he was also the king? 7

Never throughout history has a man lived a life of ease left a name worth remembering. Theodore Roosevelt Someone has told us that When ye houses were made of straw ye men were made of oak, but when your houses were made of oak, ye men were made of straw. Imagination is the keeper of the mystery into the infinite. C.S. Lewis 8

Do we really believe the psalmist when he proclaims that I am fearfully and wonderfully made? Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I consecrated you Jer. 1:4-5 The prime reason I believe we are to live lives of deep intentionality is because we were formed out of the deep intentionality of our God! 9

So how do we do this? Discovering the life that you are is radically different energy than getting your life together. At the end of days; a life lived from what mattered will always trump a life lived from passion. Self acceptance is essential if you are to discover the depth of the image of God that we are. Self respect and the development of dignity. God did not find us to use us, he found us to know us. He found us that we might know our true selves. Critical inner voice and self loathing is a reflection that you are not reconciled to the gift that you are. 10

We have to shed outcomes Life needs to be process. If you are not living on the edge of your life, you are taking up too much room. We must live lives of making mistakes, blowing it keeps us genuine. Living from will is often living from what others said was good or suppose to be done. Will is often driven by fear. We get sterile, dry, boring. The greatest threat to our children is the unlived lives we lead. The imagination works slowly and powerfully. Inspiration comes slowly, quietly. 11
