A G u i d e B o o k Becoming Self-Meditated vîv*žžv2 ± kž
For development of psychic abilities, I cannot stress enough the importance of learning to meditate without guidance. Here's why: When we are being led in a meditation, even if we are listening to subtle background music we are engaging our conscious mind. When we are meditating to receive information from Higher Realms (including our Higher Selves) we want to engage our subconscious and more so, our super-conscious mind- the part of us that is all knowing. Accessing this is ultimately what gives us the feeling of being empowered in our lives because we step into our all knowing embodiment. In other words, we know that we know the answers, have confidence in that, and we trust that we are being supported in ways way beyond our human logical understandings.
Eventually you will be able to access this 'level' of consciousness without having to sit in meditation. In fact people do it all the time when they use substances (but because of the use of the substance they cannot properly interpret the guidance being provided.) Ultimately, you will be able to access this information at any time, which will come in the form of (or language of) your unique psychic gifts. This might be while you sleep, while you do the dishes, even while your at work (and it wont be invasive by any means.) But, until that happens meditation is our 'way in.' How to do it: If you aren't a regular meditator, have taken time off, have never tried meditating or are a pro, I would suggest the very same thing.
Sound Find some noise canceling headphones or ear plugs. Essentially here we are trying to turn off your world senses completely, sound particularly is the most disruptive. Sight, Surroundings You'll want to meditate in a room you WANT to be in, somewhere that feels enjoyable to you. Maybe this is somewhere light, or somewhere dark, this is entirely up to you. Find an eye mask or cloth to cover your eyes that blocks out any light from reaching your eyes. Body Position Body position is not the most critical part of meditation. The goal here is to be comfortable enough that you are not focusing on your body posture at all. Beginners often find it easiest to lay down on a yoga mat with a blanket over them. Make sure you are warm or cool enough.
Distractions You'll want to clear away anything that could become a potential distraction while meditating, but things do come up, this is part of the process. As mental distraction, or physical distraction comes up, the most important thing is to not FOCUS on it, this does not mean don't RECOGNIZE it (your conscious mind will fight to get you to do this all on its own) but don't let it win by making anything of the distraction. One thing I have found helpful is using the sanskrit word 'neti neti' which means 'not this.' It reminds me to not focus on the distraction but to move it along like swiping someone on a dating app Time The more you practice meditation the longer you will be able to meditate without awareness of time. You may find it easy to stay in meditation for extended amounts of time and feel that its only been a few minutes! You may want to set a timer to help you keep time.
The Ladder The meditation ladder is a way to start meditating and increasing your time meditating as time goes on. You'll meditate for a few minutes more each day. When you choose to meditate is up to you. But, I recommend choosing a set time each day so you can program your body to know when its time. You'll learn that if you do this, you will actually be sending a strong signal through your vibration at this time every day that says 'I'm open to receive messages right now.' And then if you stop meditating regularly you'll still receive intuitive guidance at this time each day-- its like training your psychic abilities to the clock! Years from now you could be doing anything, drive, at a book store, working and you'll receive guidance at a set time with ease seamlessly integrated into your day, how cool is that!
Note, for this to happen it does take a while of creating a habit. Most people say it takes about 21-40 days to create a habit, so give it a shot! How To: The Ladder Day 1: 3 minutes Day 2: 5 minutes Day 3: 7 minutes Day 4: 10 minutes Day 5: 12 minutes Day 6: 15 minutes Day 7: 17 minutes Day 8: 20 minutes Day 9: 22 minutes Day 10: 25 minutes Visual Cues For a long time psychics have used the rose as a symbol for intuition and intuitive gifts as well as for help receiving psychic information for themselves and others. For this reason I have included use of the symbolic rose in this guide.
I wont go into the symbol of those rose in this guide other than to note it is extremely highly vibrational and can help us to recalibrate psychically which is why we will reference it. If you would like to read more about the rose: http://bit.ly/rose1111 If you would like to, before you enter into meditation, look at the rose image on the following page. You may want to print this page. Recite the following mantra in your head or outloud: 'I open up my gifts, I am ready to receive.' Then get comfortable, close and cover your eyes, enter into your meditation and in your minds eye visualize opening the petals of the rose. Simple keep opening them up until you reach the center or release consciousness of the rose.
