He attended a high school with a focus on music and fine arts. After graduating, he started studying at university college in Denmark, where he focused on getting a degree in design. He is currently working as a freelancer, and has worked with branding, logo design, photo editing, illustrations, typography and website layout so far. His hope for the future is to find a job in a design studio, where he can work on many different creative design projects. He has also completed an internship in a design company. Q&A with LASZLO LASZLO answers questions about his life, experiences, and good memories Which words describe your personality? Persistent, friendly, caring, honest, different. Describe your strong sides: I value the connection I have with the people dear to me very much. I am the type of person who cares about the mood and well-being of those around me. It feels natural and right for me to take the supportive role, when it is needed of me. I am a persistent worker; during every project I am the person who puts extra hours into a project. I am the one who pushes people to do their very best, while maintaining a certain level of good energy. I enjoy challenges and hurdles thrown in my direction. Sometimes you could say that I look forward to see how I fare against the harsh odds. Describe your weak sides: I have grown used to always being needed and have a special role in someone s life. Now, things are really different from how they were even 2 years ago. When I lose my sense of connection or being needed by someone, it can become difficult for me to see a reason to act or to find the energy inside me to maintain my performance at work. I am in the process of learning how to live by myself. In work life, if it is a matter of creative work, like graphic design, and if I am not allowed or do not manage to be fully transparent in my decisions and opinions, or I do not feel that I am contributing with how much I would believe the project deserves, I have a tendency to care less and less about the said project, leading to underperforming. Q&A with LASZLO - continued LASZLO s dreams, favourites and experiences Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? I really do not have idols or heroes. Great men of the past or great men of the present, we can get to know only a part of them, while the rest remains a secret or a lost information. I could not take a fragment of a person as an idol or hero. What are your goals in life? Even if we have a goal in life, can we be sure we will feel fine at the end of it? My goal in life is contentment maybe. To be at peace with myself and the world. What were your childhood dreams: My dreams were to grow stronger, maybe join the military. To maybe have a child in my 20 es, if I was getting money out of my talent or another type of work. Have a son and two daughters... Like it s a choice. I dreamed of a time where I could fix anything and anyone. I do not believe in legacy, creating something in this life to leave behind. I do not believe in leaving a mark on the world. I like to believe I am leaving myself open for any chance or experience out there. Which values do you rank the highest? Love, compassion, curiosity, perseverance and fun. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? I believe it was seeing for the first time the mountains near the forest. How can something so strong be so silent or something like that I said. Strong and peaceful. I believed I always tried to aspire towards that. Be the one who can push against and make everything peaceful. Maybe. Which was your greatest experience or moment? Meeting my greatest love. So far. Happiest: Hearing her say I love you. Funniest: When me and two other guys placed the number 214 on every door in the school dormitory (800 rooms). Scariest: Waiting to find out if my loved one had cancer. Proudest: Realising I survived for one year on my own, working in the field I choose. Most dangerous: I was attacked by a person with a knife. Never experienced that before. Greatest sorrow: Learning that even if two people love each other truly, it does not mean they are meant for each other. What is your favourite colour? Black - It is the color of true lovers. Two people holding hands and jumping into the unknown future, not knowing if they will come out together or be hurt and separated. Interstellar - I liked how the temporary separation between the main actor and his daughter can be reflected in the journey of a spaceman through the incalculable distance of space.
