What was the highlight of your summer? Albert F. Andrew M. Ben L. Probably hanging around with my friends going to Kitsap lake n stuff. The highlight of my summer is catching a 7 pound black mouth salmon. I had lots of fun at cub scout camp shooting the bows and arrows. I also really liked seeing Mt. Rushmore. Braden B. The best part of the summer was Miami Hockey School. We had to do lots of fun stuff like skating and running laps around the quad. We also learned lots about hockey. Brendan R. Brielle S. Probably baseball I have two highlights. One was that we went boating a lot. The other is that we started school this week! Carlo W. Cole V. I liked picking Blackberries most! & I have a Birthday today too. I went to a renaissance fair! It was about medieval times. I got to drink ale cream soda from a glass blue bottle I carried around all day. I got to see people dressed in lots of costumes. I got to see people do tricks with horses. I got to play battles with foam swords! It was so fun. Darren C. My favorite part of summer was going to Miami Hockey School. It was fun, we skated and scrimmaged. At dry land we ran and played games. Eli S. Ella S. Emily C. skateboarding Muzy he is my horse Cruz but we just call him muzy. The Highlight Of My Summer was when I flew to California to visit my Aunt Tami and my Uncle Mark and there two sons Greg and Jeff. On the forth of July we went to Hollywood Bowl and watched fireworks and listened to music. Then we went to Universal Studios. We rode a bunch of rides. This was the Highlight Of My Summer.

Emma A. The highlight of my summer was going to the ocean. We went to my aunt's cabin at Ocean Shores. I made a sandcastle, played in the surf, swam at the outdoor pool, played tennis and pickle ball, and rode my bike. I had fun! Erik A. I loved swimming lessons. Erin S. sleepovers! Esteban E. Eva T. It was when my grandmother came over from Hawaii and stayed with us. The highlight of my summer was when I jumped on the trampoline with water balloons with my brother. Faith B. Faith D. I love getting a new hot tub. The highlight of my summer was when I was hiking to Second Beach at La Push. And Max figured out (because he was digging in the sand) that there was some water in the hole that he dug, at the beach. Gaven W. Gwen A. Hank C. I was playing with sticks outside, and swimming on the hot days. I liked going to my cousins Birthday party at Build-a-Bear. The funnest thing during my summer was hockey camp in Ohio. I liked going to Utah to see all my cousins and doing lots of fun stuff, like going to Yellowstone...I found lots of treasures. We got to see Old Faithful which is in Yellowstone. We saw the Salt Lake LDS temple, we saw bears, a bald eagle, and got so close to a bison that it charged me. We went to Bryce Canyon and saw thousands of hoodoos! It was so awesome! At scout camp there was lots of clubs we could go to like archery and bee-bees. I got a bull s eye in archery and almost got one in bee-bees. We also did woodworking and made two cool things. The first one was a candy machine, and the second was a bug catcher. I also got to salute the America flag every day. The last day was a family picnic with all the cub scouts families. Lilly M. Luke G. The highlight of my summer was going to Wild Waves. My favorite part was going to the Tacoma Rainier's games. My friend's dad plays for the Rainiers. I went to Dallas, Texas. I was there for 10 days. It was hot, about 111 degrees! My cousins came. Lydia S. Mr. Loyd's work party. There was big giant slide, a pirate ship, a playground, and a race thing where we ran through noodles and donuts. Mr. Loyd is my friend Cordelia's dad. Auntie's Mary's work party had a big jumping trampoline bubble and race course with a slide, and face painting, cake and popcorn! There was even a blow up fish aquarium for toddlers to play in. Maddie F. Malachi H. Marco D. My favorite part of this summer was visiting Forks and Rialto Beach. I would have to say the highlight of my summer was playing outside with my friends. Learning how to fish cast and reel. I am fishing with my dad. I caught several bull fish, a flounder and 2 dogfish. They broke my like and took my lures!

Maxwell D. My highlight was that we went on vacation to La Push, Washington, and stayed in a cabin for four days. The most exciting part was when we went on a hike to Second Beach and Faith and I were digging in the sand. Faith is my sister. I was trying to dig to the center of the Earth. The first hole we dug was okay for a while but then we ran into a big sand bug and we reversed our work and filled the hole in. But the second try (I think it was second), we dug so much that we reached a chamber that had some water in it. Now don't be surprised. It wasn't like a castle chamber. I kept digging and Faith helped too. But as I kept digging and sticking my hand into the water, I felt that any second something would crawl onto my hand so I took my hand out of the water and Faith and I filled in the hole. Meagan F. Moira H. The highlight of my summer was spending lots of time outside. When we went over to my grandma's. We got to play in the pool. I dragged Malachi, who was holding onto my ankles, around the pool. He refused to do the same to me. So I kept dragging him. We thought it was fun. Nick V. The Highlight of my summer was my free time. I played beach ball in my front yard and I loved the episodes of Wipeout. Raylynn R. Rylee C. Shaylie B. Simeon B. Spencer A.
