Ancient Healing: Journey Through the Chakras Wednesdays at 5:00 PM Each class will begin with medical meditation and end with an affirmation specific to each chakra. We will discuss additional healing practices including sound, colors, and food recommendations to balance each specific energy center, and engage healing practices including Ayurvedic techniques, energy healing, as well as daily routine and lifestyle recommendations. While the plant-based food sector is experiencing tremendous growth, there is also a boom in the growth in animal-free products including cosmetics, fashion and luxury car manufacturing. This program will examine the motivating factors for the growth of veganism including the impact of animal agriculture on climate and the environment, world hunger, health, and the desire to eliminate animal suffering. Author Talk: Stu Fabe Wednesday, August 29, 6:30 PM Local author Stu Fabe will present his new novel, Evening Code. Over the last four decades, Stuart Fabe has directed his creative energies to three artistic media: photography, weaving, and writing. He has published several books showcasing his fine-art photography and his intricate weavings. He has exhibited artwork at numerous art shows and galleries, and his work is widely collected. Evening Code is Stuart s fourth novel and is the third story in the Clay Arnold series. He enjoys the role of storyteller and in examining the human conflicts inherent to good-versus-evil. His writing is intended solely as entertainment. Stuart lives in the bucolic countryside near Greencastle, Indiana, with his partner, Marla Helton, two dogs, two cats, and ten hens. About Evening Code: Clay Arnold is a world-class photographer and owner of an antique camera museum. When he purchases a rare camera onceowned by Samuel Morse, Clay finds a clue that leads him on a treasure hunt.
