Each year, Samaritan s Purse sponsors Operation Christmas Child in order to provide gifts to children around the world. A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children s lives all over the world in Jesus Name through the power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child. We will kick off our Operation Christmas Child campaign on Sunday, October 9. We will have boxes available to pick up that day. Shoeboxes are due back at FBC by Sunday, November 6. Carman Austin is our church s OCC coordinator. Once again this year, First Baptist will serve as a regional collection center. From November 14-21, we will need volunteers to help load shoe boxes on the trailer. For more information, you may contact Rebecca Finch at finchfamily@comporium.net.
