Page 3 Life Thoughts in the Church Year September 23 Pentecost XVIII (Proper 20B) - Everyone who loves the Lord God also loves His little ones(mark 9:37). Every child is a treasure. Every person, especially the veulnerable, is our neighbor. Every life, even the feeblest, is a gift and privilege from above. Life or death situations allow opportunity for us to receive them- see them, been seen with them, meet their needs. The Gospel of Jesus Christ means life with a Father and His family. Father in heaven, assist us to receive Your little ones. Amen. Did You Know KINGS Attention youth in 6th-8th grade! We would love to have you join us in the KINGS middle school youth group! Our first meeting will be Sunday, September 23 after the second service at the church pavilion. Lunch will be served! We will pass out our calendar for the year and gather contact information for the families. Parents can pick up their youth at 1:30. Please contact Jennifer Miller (tjsmiller2@gmail.com) or Libby Unruh (onelchornt@aol.com) with questions. We look forward to seeing you there! Calling All Golfers Redeemer helps sponsor a golf tournament in support of the Campus Christians at Mary Washington University. This year's tournament is October 1st. If you would like to play, call or email Mike Evenson The new back screen in the sanctuary is up, and the lettering on the other screens are now larger? The Preschool gets out at 1215, so please watch out for the car line...it's a long one this year. Best not to park in the back so u can get out. Thanks for your help. The playground and fencing is power washed? New swings were added? Please explain to your children that the swing heights should not be changed and not to put stones on the equipment...someone could slip and fall.
