Trinity Church: A Community of Truth, Love and Faith March 2018 P h i l W h i s l e r, P a s t o r Dear Church Family, For the past month, the Winter Olympics have been going on in South Korea. In the Winter Olympics thirty eight years ago, the most memorable event was Miracle on Ice. The USA beat the Soviet Union in hockey 5-4. It wasn t a medal game; It was just that we rarely won a game against the Soviets. The famous line from this telecast comes from broadcaster Al Michaels who said, Do you believe in Miracles? My answer to that question is yes, I do. I believe God does miracles every-day. An example of the miracles we take for granted is the change of the seasons. If you don t think that s a miracle, try living someplace where the weather never changes! Do you realize spring is on its way? Spring is a time for new life! I pray that each of you are growing anew in Jesus Christ. May you read, pray and grow in Christ. 103 S. Main Street, PO Box 358, Mulberry, IN 46058 765.296.2323 317.910.9161 (cell) Email: PastorPhil@trinitychurchofmulberry.org A Word from Pastor Phil secretary@trinitychurchofmulberry.org www.trinitychurchofmulberry.org I believe God does miraculous and wonderous things every day. The greatest example of a miracle in each of our lives is His saving grace. Don t forget, we were once sinners who deserved His wrath, but then Jesus paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross. Because of what Jesus did we can be called the children of God if we only put our faith in Him. As Easter approaches each one of us needs to take time to thank God for Hs daily mercies and look for ways to show His love to those around us. Easter is a great time to invite people to celebrate with us the good news of Jesus s Resurrection. We will be having Easter breakfast on April 1, 2018 from 8:30 to 9:20 am and then one combined service at 9:30 am. The title of the Easter sermon (on April s Fool s day) is entitled, Easter is No Joke (Because It Changes Everything). Pass it on Pastor Phil
