Kingdom Financial Principles www.advancingthekingdomonline.org Part 4: Kingdom Principles + Kingdom Processes = Kingdom Provision I. Introduction. A. Part 3 highlights. B. Kingdom: a domain or territory that is influenced by a King. A Kingdom is not a religion. It s a form of government. It s a governing authority that brings with it the strong and overriding influence of the King. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government (= that which prevails or has power) shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (KJV) C. The Kingdom of God is not a physical territory, it s a governmental jurisdiction in which the King s principles and processes govern, rule and prevail in the Kingdom. D. You ve been given the keys to this Kingdom! Matthew 16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (NKJV) 1
II. Kingdom Principles. A. It s already done and you ve already won! (We Win, David Crowder Band) You are the recipient of the most powerful and extraordinary exchange that has ever taken place in history. Because of what Jesus has already done: 1. You are righteous. 2 Corinthians 5:21 He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (Holman) 2. You are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5 "But he endured the suffering that should have been ours, the pain that we should have borne. All the while we thought that his suffering was punishment sent by God. But because of our sins he was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment he suffered, made whole by the blows he received. (TEV) 3. You are rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich ( = to become wealthy, be increased with goods). (NKJV) 4. There s only one thing you have to do: believe it! John 6:28-29 What can we do to perform the works of God? they asked. Jesus replied, This is the work of God: that you believe in the One He has sent. (Holman) B. God has given you dominion in the earth. Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion ( = to govern, rule and reign) over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (KJV) 2
Psalm 8:6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, (NKJV) Matthew 18:18 I tell you the truth, the things you don t allow on earth will be the things God does not allow. And the things you allow on earth will be the things that God allows. (NCV) C. Seek the Kingdom first. 1. Matthew 6:33 But seek ( = to desire, enquire, worship; to try to locate or discover) first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (NKJV) 2. He s already given you the Kingdom, placed you in the Kingdom and placed the Kingdom in you. Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (KJV) Colossians 1:12-13 Giving thanks unto the Father... Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated ( = to transfer, exchange, carry away) us into the kingdom of his dear Son: (KJV) Luke 17:20-21 The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you. (NIV) 3. Start seeking the Kingdom and His righteousness first, and find out how it operates! 2 Chronicles 26:5... and as long as he (King Uzziah) sought the LORD, God made him to prosper. (KJV) D. How you think is everything! 1. People who have drawn wealth into their lives used The Secret, whether consciously or unconsciously. They think thoughts of abundance and wealth, and they do not allow any contradictory thoughts to take root in their minds. Their predominant thoughts are of wealth... It is the law of attraction in action. (Rhonda Byrne) 2. Any thought you hold that is in opposition to the Kingdom of God is a thought that is keeping you poor. Proverbs 23:7 For just as he hath thought in his own mind so he is... (Rotherham) 3
3. Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. (NKJV) To dwell in thought on the material, when once you live in Me, is to call it into being. So you must be careful only to think of and desire that which will help, not hinder, your spiritual growth... Think Love and Love surrounds you, and all about whom you think. Think thoughts of ill-will and ill surrounds you, and those about whom you think. Think health health comes. The physical reflects the mental and spiritual. (God Calling) 4. Keep your mind aligned with the Word of God. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (KJV) 5. Cast down every thought that argues against the Truth of the Word. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 We demolish arguments and every high-minded thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. (Holman) E. Your tongue controls your destiny. James 3:3-5 A bit in the mouth of a horse controls the whole horse. A small rudder on a huge ship in the hands of a skilled captain sets a course in the face of the strongest winds. A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything or destroy it!... (THE MESSAGE) Matthew 15:11 It is not what people put into their mouths that makes them unclean. It is what comes out of their mouths that makes them unclean. (NCV) Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue... (KJV) 4
III. Powerful Kingdom Processes. God gives every bird its food, but He doesn t throw it into the nest. A. Repentance... Jesus first public message. Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (KJV) Repent = change the way you think. B. Faith. 1. Faith is built on a foundation of repentance. Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, (KJV) 2. All things are possible to him who believes. Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. (NKJV) 3. Unbelief can be a killer. Hebrews 3:17-19 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. (KJV) 4. Prospering follows believing. 2 Chronicles 20:20... as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper. (NKJV) 5. Faith is the envelope in which every request to me should be placed... Just know that all is well and that Faith, not seeing, but believing, is the barque that will bear you to safety over the stormy waters. (God Calling) 6. Believing involves acting, speaking, and thinking as though you have already received what you ve asked for. When you emit the frequency of having received it, the law of attraction moves people, events, and circumstances for you to receive. (The Secret) 5
C. Thanksgiving. 1. Allow an attitude of gratitude to become your way of life. Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (KJV) 2. Give thanks in advance. John 6:9-11 There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?" Then Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. (NKJV) Romans 4:20 But Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger, and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened. (TLB) 3. Give thanks in every situation. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (KJV) Romans 8:28-29 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son... (NKJV) If anyone could tell you the shortest, surest way to all happiness and perfection, he must tell you to make it a rule to thank and praise God for everything that happens to you. For it is certain that whatever seeming calamity happens to you, if you thank and praise God for it, you turn it into a blessing. (William Law) 4. An absence of gratitude can keep you poor. Many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude. (Wallace Wattles) Whatever we think about and thank about we bring about. (Dr. John Demartini) 6
D. Positive Expectancy. Desire connects you with the thing desired and expectation draws it into your life. (Bob Proctor) 1. The Canaanite woman. Matthew 15:22-28 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed." But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us." But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs." And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour. (NKJV) 2. Two blind men. Matthew 9:27-30 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!" And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." And their eyes were opened... (NKJV) 3. Jairus. Mark 5:22-23 And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet and begged Him earnestly, saying, "My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live. (NKJV) 7
4. Abraham. Romans 4:21-22 He was absolutely convinced that God was able to do anything he promised. And because of Abraham's faith, God declared him to be righteous. (NLT) 5. Can you get the expectant attitude of faith? Not waiting for the next evil to befall you but awaiting with a child s joyful trust the next good in store? (God Calling) E. Visualization. 1. Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish... (KJV) Matthew 15:14... And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch. (NKJV) 2. If you see it in your mind, you re going to hold it in your hand. (Bob Proctor) The reason visualization is so powerful is because as you create pictures in your mind of seeing yourself with what it is you want, you are generating thoughts and feelings of having it now. (Rhonda Byrne) 3. Engage your faith and begin to visualize what you want to have happen. John 11:40-41 Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God? (NKJV) The way you see yourself is what you move toward. Visualization is simply seeing yourself the way you want to be... Imagination builds a picture in the subconscious mind, and that s what you re moving toward 24-7. (Joel Osteen) 4. When you visualize then you materialize... If you ve been there in the mind you ll go there in the body. (Dr. Denis Waitley, trainer of Olympic athletes in Visual Motor Rehersal) Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life s coming attractions. (Albert Einstein) 5. The power and importance of visualization: (Video Clip of The Blue Angels) 8
F. Confession. 1. You can have what you say. Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (KJV) I ve told My people they can have what they say, but they ve been saying what they have. (The Lord to Kenneth Hagin) 2. Remember Quantum Physics, and call it the way you want it to be! Romans 4:17-18 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. (KJV) Joel 3:10... let the weak say, I am strong. (KJV) 3. You overcome by your words. Revelation 12:10-11 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony... (KJV) Luke 17:6 So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you. (NKJV) Matthew 8:8-10 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. (KJV) 9
G. Giving. 1. Giving primes the pump and opens the door for abundance to come to you. Luke 6:38 Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you. (TEV) Proverbs 3:9-10 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. (KJV) 2. A man there was, and they called him mad; the more he gave, the more he had. (John Bunyon) 3. Hoard nothing. Let money flow freely. I will let it flow in, but you must let it flow out. I never send money to stagnate only to those who pass it on... Pour forth pour forth pour forth I cannot bless a life that does not act as a channel. (God Calling) IV. Kingdom Provision. When you understand and believe the Kingdom principles, and walk in Kingdom processes, then you can trust that the King will provide for all of your needs. Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (NKJV) 2 Peter 1:3-4 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (NKJV) Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. (KJV) Copyright 2007 by Bill Fries. All rights reserved. www.advancingthekingdomonline.org 10
