Grow Worship One, Work One on Christmas Eve In the spirit of giving during the Christmas season, why not give of yourself on Christmas Eve. This is an opportunity to showcase our warm hospitality to our guests to make them feel welcome. We want them to return and make Asbury their church home. We encourage entire households to serve together on this wonderful evening. We have opportunities in guest services to be greeters, hosts and smiling representatives. If you would like to volunteer, please go to the main Guest Services Desk to sign up. Come Worship One and Work One on Christmas Eve! LifeTouch Pictorial Directories Available If you had your photo made for the LifeTouch directory, you may pick them up in the north lobby TODAY. Directories are available in the main office during the weekday. They are not being mailed out, so please plan to pick them up. If you were not able to have your photo taken when LifeTouch was here, a general membership directory will be available in January. Perceptions Pastor Tom s latest edition of Perceptions is available. He will be signing books in the main foyer between services today. Books are $10.00 and make great Christmas gifts. Current Sermon Series December 6: Abram is the first to call God Adonai. Adonai comes from the root word meaning: master, lord and owner. When applied to God, it communicates He is Lord of lords and Ruler of the whole Earth. There are promises and blessings that come with being owned by God, but there are also responsibilities. Adonai is a name or title which requires something of us. God as Creator doesn t necessitate a response, but the fact that Jesus is Lord does.

Influence Christmas Eve Services Who will you invite? 4:00 pm Modern Service Great for families with young children who want to worship together and then get home for dinner and family time before bed.
