PARISH NEWS --A hearty welcome to our guests and visitors. Please join us in the church hall after the Divine Liturgy for coffee and fellowship. --We extend Birthday greetings to: Roberta Abrahamson (May 15), and Joshua Bourgery (May 15), may God grant you, Many, Happy Years. Многая літа. --From Fr. Dn. Paul: Pani Mary Ann, my granddaughter, Marissa and myself will be traveling on a humanitarian mission trip to aid special needs orphanages in Ukraine. The trip is sponsored by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and will take place from June 3 June 19, 2018. We will be visiting two orphanages that were adopted by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. They are in the cities of Puhachiv and Znamyanka. The children that live at these orphanages are living with the aftereffects of the Chornobyl Nuclear Accident of 1986. The children in these two orphanages are truly those who are most overlooked, the most in need. These children may have cancer, genetic birth defects and complications, heart anomalies and immune deficiencies. Many of them suffer from multiple illnesses, defects and complications. Each orphanage houses between 100-140 children at any given time. We would appreciate any simple arts & crafts items, like beads etc., to take with us for the children at these orphanages. We will be leaving June 1st, so the deadline needs to be May 27th. Thank you! Дякую! --HELP NEEDED: After this morning s Divine Liturgy, we need your help in moving tables from the church hall to the basement of the church for our up-coming Flea Market. The more people, who can help, will shorten the time it will take for the move. Thank you! Дякую! --A Special Thank You, to all those who have contributed to the liquor basket that was raffled at our Pig Roast. Thank you! Дякую! --DO YOU LIKE WINE AND CHEESE??? Come to the hall on Tuesday night May 29 from 7 to 9PM for wine, cheese, fun, & blanket tying! These blankets will be

donated in a backpack to Adoption RI for kids in foster care. Bring a friend! --Are you in the midst of your Spring cleaning?? -- Save your stuff for us! Items can be brought to the church basement during coffee hour. Please, do not bring electronic devices (tv, computers and similar items). We will accept items for the Flea Market, which is Saturday, June 2nd. (Please Note, the change of date), until the middle of May. Thank you! Дякую! --FLEA MARKET WORK SESSIONS: Tuesday May 22 1PM to 4PM Friday May 25 9AM to Noon -- We now have a Kitchen Giving Tree The item of the month for May: Salt and/or White Vinegar --If you have any ideas for fund raisers for the church, please let a council member know!
