Please remember to silence your cell phone. RESOURCES FOR HEARING IMPAIRMENT Hearing assistance devices are available for those who have such need. Please see an usher for more information. BECOME A MEMBER OF HBBC Those who desire to join our church may come forward to where the pastor is standing during the Hymn of Commitment. If you would like to meet with a minister before making this decision, any of our ministers would be happy to answer your questions. Imagine the shepherds in the fields hearing from the angels, do not be afraid, or the wise men being told to follow a star to Bethlehem to find this King of the Jews. I believe they must have gazed upon the stars in wonder and excitement and maybe even disbelief that this was happening to them. And Joseph, what would he do? What would people say? I can only imagine. What about Mary? Can you even imagine her thoughts as Gabriel told her she would give birth to a Son, and would name Him Jesus, the Son of God? Maybe, as do we, they looked into the heavens and imagined. Star of wonder, star of light, star with royal beauty bright. Westward leading, still proceeding, guide us to thy perfect Light. Tonight we light the long awaited center white candle, the Christ candle. Now to Him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21, NRSV Our thanks goes out to Lynn Crawford for the Imagine pulpit banner.
