Upon request in advance, the committee will be available for non-scheduled events requiring use of the audio/visual system. The committee will ensure that all equipment necessary is available and functioning prior to each occasion it is needed. The committee will make recommendations for the purchase of new and/or replacement equipment as the need arises. MUSIC MINISTRY Director: Rodger Taylor Music Ministry There shall be a Church Music Ministry with such officers and/or organizations as needed to teach music, provide music in the church and community, and function as a medium of Christian

Education to glorify and magnify the message of salvation. The work of this ministry shall be directed by the Minister of Music with the input of the Music Committee. YOUTH COMMITTEE Chairman: Tim Petrie Adam Johnson, Pam Bronander, Frank Bronander, Laura Petrie, Terri Putnam, Thomas Putnam, Thomas Wilson Youth Committee: The Youth Committee shall assist the Minister to Students and youth workers in planning, developing, maintaining, and evaluating the church ministry to youth. BAPTISM Chairman: Dick and Wilma Davis Baptism Committee The Baptism Committee shall be responsible for coordination and set up of the Baptism service. Responsibilities shall include set up of baptism pool, providing robes for baptism candidates, and providing assistance to the Pastor as needed in carrying out the Baptism service. Chairman: Kathy Adamski BEAUTIFICATION (Subcommittee of Property/Space) BUILDING (NEW) Chairman: Tom Nichols Jim Burns, Joe Jenkins, Tom Nichols, Chris Richardson COUNTING Chairman: Kasey Betts, Wally Betts, Bucky Frick, John Hauck, Patty Hauck, Marie Leduc, Chris Richardson, Counting Committee This committee shall be responsible for prompt and safe processing and safekeeping or deposit of all church offerings, under such written procedures approved by the Stewardship Committee which may be provided. FELLOWSHIP Chairman: Melanie Burns Bonita Jones, Cliff Orsburn Fellowship Committee This Committee shall be responsible for planning and supervising church wide fellowship at the request of the church, ministers, or Leadership Team. This committee shall coordinate church activities promoting Christian fellowship and may, with church approval, initiate projects and shall provide consultation and leadership assistance to church approved fellowship already in existence. The committee shall also be responsible for kitchen appliances and equipment, and with assistance from the Property and Space Committee as needed, will deal with repair or replacement matters. This committee shall recommend for church approval policies regarding use and housekeeping

of the kitchen area, equipment, and supplies. Such policies shall clearly spell out that the facilities and its equipment are limited to use under direct supervision of the committee, or with its approval for use, supervised by a member or members who agree to accept responsibility for repair or replacement of damaged articles. GOOD SHEPHERD/BENEVOLENCE Becky Porter, Jan Richardson Good Shepherd Committee This committee shall serve to coordinate assistance to those in or closely identified with the church body in times of bereavement over the death of loved ones. This committee shall respond to the requests for assistance from needy persons or families, and perform acts of benevolence in the name of Christ and the church. Resources shall include funds budgeted by the church, as well as material goods and designated cash donations by church members for this purpose. LEADERSHIP TEAM Pastor, Church Staff, Deacon Chairman, Missions Chairman, Sunday School Chairman, Leadership Team A Leadership Team consisting of the church s ministerial staff, along with the Deacon Chairman, Sunday School Director, and Missions Chairperson shall be elected to serve as the coordinating, planning and administrative agent for the church. The Senior Pastor shall serve as Chairperson. The Team shall meet at least twice a month or as often as needed. MINISTRY PLACEMENT Chairman: Linda Wall, Cliff Orsburn Ministry Placement Team The Ministry Placement Team shall consist of at least three members. Its duties shall be to nominate to the church persons to fill positions of all church officers, teachers, and other leaders, in consultation with organization directors, except those whose selection is provided for in some other manner in these Bylaws. This committee shall recommend nominees to the church to fill vacancies or new positions. All positions of leadership and responsibility in the church shall be filled by church members. The committee shall seek to personally contact prospects, explain duties, and secure their willingness to serve before submitting a nomination to the church. Due to the critical responsibility of the Ministry Placement Team, the Leadership Team will ensure that this committee is staffed and functioning properly. The Ministry Placement team will retain and/or select a new member annually to meet the need for three members at all times. If there is a vacancy within a year, the chairman will nominate a person to fill the vacancy with the Leadership Team s concurrence. If the vacancy is the chairman, the Leadership team will fill the vacancy from within the committee or select someone new to the committee. Regular annual nominations shall be submitted at the August member meeting, and special nominations at other times may be submitted for church approval as needed. Nominations from the floor shall be considered appropriate to the election process.

MISSIONS Chairman: John Jones Melissa Burgess, Jim Burns, John Hauck, Patty Hauck, Wube Merawi, Becky Porter, Terry Putnam, Denise Skramstad Missions Committee The purpose of this committee is to educate and inform the congregation of missions opportunities and needs, with a goal of leading the church to carry out the Great Commission. The committee will provide encouragement and/or support as directed by the congregation to groups or individuals involved with mission work. PERSONNEL Chairman: Tim Petrie Stewardship Chairman, Deacon Chairman, Property & Space Chairman Personnel Committee This committee shall, after consulting with any directly affected committee or officer and the Pastor, hire on behalf of the church, all salaried personnel except the Ministers. Such appointment shall be based on previous church approval of the position and a general salary range. The committee shall formulate and maintain written job descriptions for employees other than Ministers. The committee, with direct input from the Pastor, will be responsible for annual evaluations and salary recommendations to the Stewardship Committee for inclusion in the yearly budget. PLANNING/ AND BYLAWS Chairman: Tyler Johnson John Jones, John Root Bylaws Committee The purpose of this committee shall be to review annually the church Bylaws; recommend any amendments; assist in writing of proposed amendments; and to see that these are properly presented to the church. PROPERTY AND SPACE Chairman: Greg Preston Frank Bronander, Jim Burns, Mike Butts, Bucky Frick, Joe Jenkins, John Jones, Tom Nichols, Cliff Orsburn, Jeff Robertson Property and Space Committee This committee shall recommend policies regarding use of church property and equipment; supervise or delegate responsibility to appropriate personnel for supervision of property, equipment, or supplies; and make recommendations to the church concerning needs for new property or major equipment purchases. The committee shall make budget recommendations covering its area of responsibility to the Stewardship Committee, and shall develop and implement building and grounds maintenance plans based on the approved budget.

STEWARDSHIP Chairman: Daniel Alvarado Melanie Burns, Rose Wolfe, Church Treasurer, Deacon Chairman, Stewardship Committee The purpose of this committee shall be to help church members grow as Christian stewards by developing an understanding of, and commitment to, the Biblical concepts of individual stewardship (giving and money management) and corporate stewardship (mission support and church budgeting). The duties of the committee are as follows: (1) Serve as the Budget Planning Committee for preparing and recommending to the church an annual budget; (2) Administer gifts of church members and supervise expenditures under sound principles of financial management and according to budget actions of the church; 99 (3) Recommend appropriate special offerings to the church; (4) Provide all requested information for audit; (5) Periodically review and recommend to the church any needed changes in financial bonding for officers or staff; (6) Publicize the Biblical message of Christian stewardship by promoting tithing in support of the annual budget as adopted by the church. USHERS/GREETERS Frank Bronander, Jim Burns, Mike Butts, John Root, Robin Sanders, Gary Skramstad Usher Committee: Ushers shall provide bulletins or other appropriate materials to those entering the service, seat worshipers, receive offerings at worship services, and assist in parking cars as needed. WELCOME CENTER Michelle Ferguson, Terri Putnam, Trisha Sanders SUNDAY SCHOOL DEPARTMENT COORDINATORS Director: Adam Johnson Assistant Director: Vacant Sunday School There shall be a Sunday School, divided into departments and classes for all ages and conducted under the leadership of the Sunday School director for the study of God's Word. The tasks of the Sunday School shall be to teach the Biblical revelation; reach persons for Christ and church membership; perform the functions of the church within its constituency; and provide and interpret information regarding the work of the Church and Denomination.
