Checked the mailbox again today and there was only an advertisement or two. Had hoped that one day God might smile and there would be a letter from you. The air is still as I sit here on several acres of neatly kept lawn. Not many smiles left within me somewhere they have gone. But God keeps me busy writing another book. Called Dust to Destiny, and many hours of study and prayer surely it took. The trees soon to be bare the leaves they are falling slowly to the ground. If I hadn t have been watching closely never would have known for they make not a sound. The World Series now in the past till warm sunshine comes another year. The fans in the stadium those that I saw seemed to enjoy didn t see any sadness, not a tear. The old corrals need to be painted. You know that white. Fences around the ranch need some fixing and some repair. Then all would look new and bright. The flag hasn t been put in the sky for a day or two. In fact it s been quite awhile.
