Welcome Visitors! There is a well equipped nursery available for your babies and young children located in the smaller building next door. There is a quiet room for nap times and for changing your little one, as well as kitchen facilities. Sunday School is out for the summer but will be starting up soon. Colouring sheets and crayons are available from the table in the foyer to assist parents in keeping their children settled during the service. We have a well-stocked library with books and videos for all ages in the basement of the church hall. The library is closed today but will be open next week. Coffee is on! Join us for a time of fellowship in the church basement directly after the service. We d love to meet you! Church Announcements & Activities Today's Sermon This morning we have the privilege of watching a Video Sermon from Pastor Kurt Monroe on Luke 10:38-42 "Jesus Visits Mary and Martha". Pastor Kurt Monroe is a potential pastor candidate that the Search Committee are looking at for our congregation - the Alberni Valley Christian Reformed Church. Thank-you. In Christ, The Search Committee Colin B., Richard W., John D., Marjie A., Katie C., Jake L., Mitzie C. BIGGER & BETTER! 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm Youth KICKOFF starts this Friday, Sep 7. Start Small, end big! If you are a student in grade 6-12, this event includes you! The Bigger & Better event is meant to get youth into the community, asking around for an improvement in items at each stop. Sound interesting? It's BETTER than interesting. ROGER CREEK PARK SERVICE NEXT WEEK! Sept. 9, 2012 is Fall Kick-off! Our Sunday service will be held at Roger Creek Park followed by a potluck luncheon. Please bring a luncheon item to share, some suggestions are: salad open-face buns sandwiches veggie plates fruit plates muffins Don't forget to bring your own cups, plates & cutlery too! Bring your own lawn chair, a friend and extra chairs for those who don't have any. All are welcome to join us. Sunday School Meeting There will be a Sunday School Meeting for all teachers and helpers this Thursday September 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Please try to make it.
