This time was different. It was the whole, I m going to Disney World tomorrow type of thing! I was overcome with joy and expectation for what exactly? I wasn t quiet sure! I m one of those people who gets really excited on special occasions (specifically, my birthday, New Years, and Valentine s Day just in case you were wondering). This was the night before Valentine s Day 2018 and my single girl heart was excited to spend time with THE one who is love Himself! (Proudly one of my favorite things to do!) He reminded me of words He poured into my spirit over the past two years, and also spoke of new life and adventure with Him! In the midst of me, my flesh, and I Jesus FILLED my heart with beautiful truths. Like I ve already mentioned, as a result of joy and expectation, I struggled to fall asleep, and was not one bit mad about it! God had began to give me a word to share with the guys who come to our Fountain basketball gym not knowing when I d have the opportunity to share, I prayed that He would continue to build on that word. With my Valentine s Day stickers in hand, I began the next day praying that Jesus would continue to speak. I was soon given a massive bar of Norwegian chocolate, a beautiful red carnation (picked by one of my sweet neighbors), and pizza seriously?! (I m thinking of all the single Valentine s dreams & memes) Continued on page 4 We will go ministries//806 N Farish street//jackson, ms

The Fountain continued from page 1 To continue on my joy and expectation streak, I then braced myself for entering the Dollar Tree on Valentine s Day WOW. What. An. Experience. I was on my way to buy candles and balloons to bring to a memorial service for one of our 23 year old neighbors who had lost his life days before. When I say the store was packed, I mean, it was packed with ONE register open. It was so packed, that they made an announcement that if you wanted to buy balloons, you had to use the helium tank and fill them up yourselves. (I made a couple of new friends while trying to navigate my way through the balloon adventure!) Before heading to deliver the balloons to the family, I went to the Fountain was able to give a big hug to some of our kiddos before heading into the basketball gym. I never would have guessed it, but God really used those little Valentine s Day stickers they said I love you because! With every one handed out, I asked Jesus to give me a word or a phrase. You re bold! You re a leader! You carry joy! It created an opportunity for me to share the same kind of truth that Jesus poured into my heart the night before. And if you don t already know, every time we open the Fountain gym for basketball, we stop and take time to pray and share a devotion. About a solid minute before share time, I was given the opportunity to share my flesh so wanted to pass it off to someone else (I tried, but then took it back haha). God started preparing to share with these guys the night before, and I didn t even realize it. --- How do you know that you are loved by God? How does HE know you love Him? Does He truly know you? But if anyone loves God, he is known by God. 1 Corinthians 8:3 --- At the end of my share time, one of our new guys volunteered to pray out load in front of the other 35 guys in the gym (BIG deal)! He didn t have much to say, but managed to thank God for waking us up and keeping us safe, but I was so thankful to see him stand and pray. On his sticker, I was able to write You re bold! and I thanked him for being willing to try, as he told me he had never prayed like that before. After we closed up the Fountain, I headed down the neighborhood alley to visit with the family preparing for the memorial. After watching one of the balloons I worked hard to inflate fly away, I began to pray that Jesus would be with me as we delivered balloons and candles. What do you say to your friends who lost their brother? What do you say to a mother who no longer has her 23 year old son? Man, I m so thankful for Jesus!! Sitting outside near the memorial where the young boy lost his life, we were able to shine the light of Jesus, and hug the hurting. What an honor to get to be HIS hands and feet. Soon after I was scheduled to share with a beautiful group of ladies who are recently out of prison. With Valentines cards written by our young kids in hand, I was ready to pray for hearts to be open to Jesus. I watched 2 of the women hear from God and make choices to give their hurt, their pain, and their trust to God. What better way to end the day, than with people who heard from the Father. What a gift! What an honor! Jesus knows how to surround us with love. He knows the desires of our hearts. To be known by Him is the sweetest thing! For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans for a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Visit Us! By: Ruth Alexander If you would like to come and serve along side us for the day, or up to two weeks, please email us at visitus@wewillgo.org! We love having visitors join us during the week, participating in everything we do! https:// wewillgo.org/schedule/ Here is a testimony from a sweet couple who came and served with us for a week, all the way from Switzerland! We have been so blessed while we were in Jackson. The team was just so lovely, kind and welcoming. We felt as we were a part of your family. We loved so much spending time with the missionaries, hearing their individual testimonies and learning from them. Their testimonies have been so powerful to us. We are so grateful for what God has done in each of their lives. Through them telling us their story we could receive God's goodness more. The other major part that has impacted us, is that we simply need to speak the truth to other people. You need to know, that Swiss are not really good at saying the truth straight out. Usually when we confront people, we talk around the issue. We learned how important and necessary it is to tell someone the real unveiled truth, even if it does not sound nice and pleasing to them. The truth of Jesus is so powerful, like a double-edged sword it will separate darkness from light. God promises us in the Bible that His words will set people free indeed. The third thing is, that we should never ever give up on people. It is so important to keep loving the one in front of us, even if there won't be change at all over decades. We can never force someone to believe in God. It must be their own decision. We can pray for them, love on them and suffer because of no improvement. But in the end, it will be God's goodness changing them. We are only His hands and feet, the glory belongs to the head, and this is Jesus. - Nathanael and Andrea Josi Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 1 Peter 4:8-9 WWG INTERNSHIP The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields. Hands & Feet: Clothing Ministry Focus Over the past year we have seen the incredible kindness of our extended family and friends in the way they have donated to the Food Ministry. The beginning of this month Adriel Wright, our Lead Food Co-ordinator left We Will Go to follow God in a new direction. I want to say a huge thank to her for how she served the Ministry in the time she spent with us. We have seen our shelves nearly empty and after praying, God supplies our needs with someone bringing a donation into the Fountain. This is a new season and I know God is going to be in everything. So as we put our trust in him I would like you to take the time in praying to see if God is guiding you to donate canned and dried goods for our neighbors who we serve each week. If you would like to volunteer 2 hours a week on a Tuesday or a Thursday, we have our Food and Clothing Ministry where we help supply our neighbors needs. We would love to serve alongside you in this Ministry. We are privileged to be used by God in this way. You can also help by donating a Sunday Meal. Each Sunday we hold a service in The Pavilion on Congress Street. We start with Worship and Prayer, hear the Word of God, and finish by sitting with our neighbors and sharing a meal together. It is a time where we can hear what has been happening in their lives and pray with them. This is a special part of our week and we are so grateful when groups, organizations and churches want to be a part of it. If you or your group would like to donate a meal, you would cook the meal and bring it to the Pavilion at 2:00pm, stay for the service and help serve the meal at the end. The Love of God is so apparent in these moments and we would love for you to be a part of it. If you are interested please contact me on food@wewillgo.org How to Give We Will Go is a faith ministry, entirely dependent upon the generosity and responsiveness of the Lord s people to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. It is our joy and honor to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors, friends and visitors, for the purpose of making disciples for His glory. Many of our friends are very generous, both financially and through gifts and supplies they donate to We Will Go. We trust our Lord and Savior to speak to hearts to provide. He is faithful! Mission Praises! We have been so honored to GO and share the amazing deep love of Jesus in so many beautiful places! In January we joined some beautiful IRIS friends and went to Freedom Ministries in Mexico. What a joy! They ve been sowing seed and seeing Jesus save so many many souls for over 40 years! We were honored to come alongside them and share the Good News in Mexico! In early February, Amy went to Pennsylvania to speak at a ministry school and house of prayer- such a beautiful place full of beautiful souls! Also in February, we went to Austria and Norway to join in all our Savior is doing there! We were able to see what our friends Larry and Melinda Henderson are doing in Vienna- such a beautiful ministry to so many souls! We shared the love of Christ Jesus in three different places in Norway ; Jesus is doing amazing miracles in Norway! We were so blessed to spend time with God s people there! The last week of February, Amy went to Reynosa, Mexico to teach and speak at the Iris Missions School. There are so many hungry hearts for more of Jesus! So many precious saints that are wanting to give all and serve Jesus with all their hearts! Thank you so much for praying for us and for your support! Jesus is moving all across the nations and saving souls every single day! We are so honored to be part of His Bride and encourage His people and to take the Good News to precious souls! While I (Amy) was in Reynosa Mexico, we had the blessed opportunity to minister in a brothel in the red zone. Jesus so powerfully touched my heart as I hugged many ladies that are selling themselves daily. Jesus s love flowed so powerfully into each heart. One young lady said, I know God sent you here to tell me that HE sees me and that I m not alone and I m valuable. Here am I. Lord send me! Isaiah 6:8 By: Amy Lancaster Katelyn Scalese Last summer I was an intern for camp hope. I learned so much about leadership during that. It was amazing what God did in the hearts of the children. It was such a privilege to be here, and to have the opportunity to sow into the hearts of the children. During that time the Lord really gave me a heart for the city of Jackson, and the people of the community. When I got home I felt like the Lord was telling me to come back for the next year. So in January I came back to We Will Go as a full time missionary. I will be here for the next year as lead missionary over the arts and urban sip. God did so much in just three months, I m so excited to see what He can do in a year.
