It s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas Cantata: Parents, pick up an informational flyer at the Information Center and a registration form to sign up your child (2 nd grade and up) for the Christmas program. There will be singing and speaking opportunities with a small amount of drama (no full-fledged play this year). Dates are December 12 and 13 th for performances. Rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons. Children will bring lunch and stay for 1-2 hours depending on the week. Parents are needed to help. You can pre-register now, and we will have the official sign-up and meeting on Sunday, October 11. That will also be the first day of practice. We will provide a small snack/lunch for the children for that day. If you have a younger child (ages 4, 5, or 6) who is interested, please sign them up and if there are openings, you will be called. Please see Cindi Decker with any questions. REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE TODAY AT THE INFORMATION CENTER. Please place any completed forms in the location described on the form. Children in the first grade or younger can sign up, but they will only attend the lunches or rehearsals by invitation (which means we will call you if we have a place for your 4- to 6- year-old child). LUNCH CHAPERONES NEEDED NOW: Seeking two or three people each week to sit with the children during lunch for the Christmas program rehearsals. If you can help, please choose a date or two by signing on the schedule on the bulletin board. The first lunch is next week, October 11. Please do not be concerned about disrupting the service. We care about you! Parents & Children Parents, in an effort to consistently improve our worship services, we ask you to sit with your children and teenagers in the worship service so that all can be edified without great distraction. Phones and tablets can be used too by our young people to access sermon notes and the Bible online, but we ask that they refrain from other uses so that they can grow as well.
