E. Waters Middle School in Portsmouth, VA. Shecara is a honor roll student with perfect attendance and a Cheerleader for the W. E. Waters Cavaliers. Shecara likes spending time with her family and friends, cheering, and shopping. Her goal is to attend college after graduation. At the age of 11 months old on the 4th Sunday in January 2003, a special baby dedication ceremony (Christening) was held for Shecara as an expression of faith and commitment on the part of her parents and a blessing on the part of God through the New First Baptist Church (Taylorsville) family. Today, Shecara is an active member of the youth ministry and sings with the Steelettes Youth Choir. Her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me and Say Yes by Michelle Williams is her favorite Christian song.
